Standing below Giants ...
Over the course of a few weeks, I visited an area multiple times and it was interesting how my personal vision changed during that time from my original intent to what I ended up capturing. What this also reminded me that for my own personal journey, on this thing called photography, not everything needs to be epic for it to resonate with me. I think too often we are all a little guilty chasing the dopamine hit of social media likes and for those, m...ostly, the final image needs to be epic. It can be, of course, quite scary to point your camera in the other direction and tread your own path, not least as it often means the journey is taken alone but I think it's important to be true to yourself, listen to that voice inside you and create art that resonates first and foremost with ourselves. I'm learning to be quiet and listen to that voice more and more ....
