Nine Glens Walking Tours Description
For years now i have had a strong passion and interest for the stories and way of Irish Life, particularly in the Glens of Antrim, it is a passion that has at times consumed me and led me to many opportunities.
Most recently i have been elected chairperson in two local historical societies and on the committee of various others. I also contribute to a local newspaper column about people in the Glens of Antrim. I would also be responsible for a local museum.
This has lead to me qualifying as a tour guide in 2016 and in turn setting up the company in 2017.
We here in the Glens Of Antrim live in a unique and mythical place, where every stone and every river is steeped in history, mythology, song and poetry.
We can quite rightly be described as a micro culture within Ireland. We have our own ways, our own beliefs and our own stories.
Through walking and touring with us, it is my hope and belief that we will leave an experience and impression on our visitors that will have them asking for more and visiting us time and time again
