About Northern Ireland Target Sports Association

NITSA is a progressive and dynamic sports club, we offer many target shooting disciplines to our membership and with six ranges at Buskhill we have plenty of flexibility to cater for everyone including those who only wish to engage in target practice.

Northern Ireland Target Sports Association Description

Our Ethos is non-profit taking and all club property is held in a Trust Deed for the members, the Trust Deed is held by our solicitors Diamond Heron.

NITSA members benefit from the expert training of in-house NRA (USA) qualified instructors and assessors. Our members compete in a broad spectrum of competitions such as Police Pistol, Service Pistol, PPC wa1500, IPSC Practical Pistol and Shotgun, Mini Rifle, Cowboy Action, Bench Rifle, Gallery Rifle, U. I. T. and Skittle competitions. Members have also competed abroad at international events held in mainland Europe, Germany, Holland, Norway, Sweden, Belgium, France and the Czech Republic being some of the countries visited and in the USA such as Arizona, Colorado and in October 2014 the IPSC World Shoot held in Florida.

No matter what your sporting discipline, be it competitive or casual shooting, our ranges will accommodate your requirements.

We have three range locations across the province that can provide 7 days a week shooting

ABOUT NITSA
We are without doubt the fastest growing club by membership numbers and range facilities, among our membership we have citizens from, China, Denmark, England, Germany, Greece, Hungary, India, Lithuania, Philippines, Poland, Republic of Ireland, Scotland, South Africa, USA and Venezuela.
Our location could not be better, the Buskhill Road is located six miles south of Banbridge and six miles north of Newry and directly off the main A1 dual carriageway which is the... main road from Belfast to Dublin. Overseas visitors who use any of the following airports Belfast International, Belfast City and Dublin International will be pleased to arrive at the ranges after what should be no more than a fifty minute drive.
In addition to the NITSA Ranges our membership also have access free of charge to the following indoor ranges; The Ards & Bangor Club on the Hamilton Road in Bangor Co. Down, this council operated 25metre range (4 firing points) is available on Sundays between 3pm and 6pm (except for the 2nd Sunday of each month), the International Target Shooters 25metre range (7 firing points) on the Largy Road Crumlin Co. Antrim is available Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings from 7pm -9pm.

Just ten days to go until the WA1500 PPC Irish International Open which is being held at the NITSA Ranges on Thursday, Friday & Saturday the 24th to 26th May. In addition to the PPC matches competitors can also take part in Police Pistol and Service Pistol competitions. REVOLVER NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH; this Thursday & Friday afternoon 2pm to 5.30pm and Saturday 9am to 5.30pm. Location the NITSA Ranges 20 Buskhill Road, Newry, BT34 1SD, six competitions, six ranges and a revolver only event. If you don’t own a revolver we have four Smith & Wesson club revolvers and ammunition available (terms & conditions apply).
