We popped in for lunch yesterday and were so impressed with this place! The server was lovely and very helpful, she pointed out all of the vegan options which were available as well as adding that the chef can accommodate if I wanted to substitute anything. Everything we ordered was exceptional and I just want to let the chef know how much we appreciate the healthy, tasty, fresh food and great service. We will definitely be back next time we are in Portrush.

Visited Portrush for the weekend and ate here on Saturday night- absolutely delicious! The food was excellent, lovely atmosphere and for what we had, plus wine, it was so reasonable. Other restaurants could learn a thing or two from Ocho Tapas! Will definitely be back.

There was 11 of us and the service was the best. We were made to feel very welcome, time was taken to explain the menu and the food was superb. Professional but also friendly staff. A lovely dining experience thank you x

The food is just stunning. Quaint, old-school surroundings, balanced by an up-to-date menu. Some great twists on traditional tapas. Fresh, top-notch ingredients and a relaxed, attentive waiting staff. The best restaurant in Portrush, by far.

Tonight's dining experience was no exception to that trend, all the flavours were magnificent and blended so well together.

Staff were friendly even though they were clearly experiencing a very busy night. Book as far ahead as possible to be sure of a table �

More than just flavours of Spain, Ocho's Trudy and Sean deliver their own unique take on mouthwatering, delicious savoury tapas and sweet treats. They have sourced the best of local produce and are always coming up with inspirational combinations in their recipes. Ocho is our 'go to' place for those special dates in our calendar.

One last thing .... my review would not be complete without mentioning the warm ambiance, artistic presentation of food and the friendly, helpful staff.

I think that this restaurant provides more than tapas - each dish using local produce with a Spanish twist, original and tasty.

I don't normally get chance to eat in restaurants but when I do I'll be in Ocho Tapas again after had a wonderful mix of Tapas...

I'm Mediterranean and the Tapas I had on Sunday was the best Tapas ever... and thank you Trudy and Sean for a great meal.

An amazing hidden gem in Portrush. The staff are just brilliant, wish i had discovered Ocho Tapas earlier in my week in portrush. And the food is SO good. Definitely recommend. And again wonderful staff!

Amazing meal, never had a bad tapas! A few new options added and they are just as good. Service excellent and staff lovely

Absolutely amazing food and fantastic staff. Seafood lovers will never leave disappointed! We had Spanish bread with alioli with rapeseed and extra virgin olive oil with flavoured salt, Strangford Lough mussels with white wine and garlic, squid rings, baked scallops with celeriac puree sauteed leak cream sobrasada crumb and leek powder and creamed spinach with parmesan cheese, all simply scrumptious!

It is unusual. You order 3 dishes each frrom a choice wide menue, your drinks and your preference for when each dish should arrive. We enjoyed our tapas meal greatly. Staff were attentive and helpful. Wasnt pricey either. Nice atmosphere too - yeah, we will be back.

Highly rate this place, was there with my wife a couple of days ago the food was flavoursome, I felt that there could have been a bit more thought put into the presentation of the tapas (most don't like like the display picture above). And some dishes felt like they were unfinished (like the chorizo which is literally just a bowl of chorizo) All in all though the flavours were beautiful and the prices were very reasonable. Much prefer it to the big restaurant conglomerate in Portrush.
