Visited Oliver’s, Ballyhackamore for the first time tonight with 3 friends. All the food was delicious - Monkfish fritters were lovely. Excellent cheeseboard with apple and orange. Definitely be back.

Third time at Oliver’s, and it gets better every time. Excellent food and great value. Can’t wait to go back.

Thanks so much for a great Birthday meal and cocktails, we all loved it and you looked after us so well all night. The margaritas were excellent as always and the atmosphere was great.

I booked the cocktail making night for 6 ladies on a whim without ever being to Olivers before and couldn't be happier with our experience. The information and service prior to our reservation was second to none so my hopes were high for the night and we were not disappointed! From start to finish we were welcomed, accommodated and encouraged to enjoy our experience, which we did! The food was delicious, the team working last night were fun and attentive and most importantly the cocktails were strong! The boys looking after us made the experience and I will be back but will also highly recommend the restaurant to everyone. We had a great night - thank you team Olivers! #TeamBJ!!! ����

A little gem of a restaurant in Ballyhackamore and one of my favourites! Warm and welcoming atmosphere, friendly staff, great food, drink & coffee. We regularly go for dinner, but tried out their brunch menu today that was equally delicious. Worth a visit!

'You've either got, or you haven't got style', so the song says. Well 'Oliver's' definitely has got style in bucket loads. From the simple and chic exterior to the interior of exposed brick, terrazzo floor and very cool, functional but exceptionally comfortable dark wood seating, this place certainly looks the part. Restaurants should be primarily about the food of course and after a quick glance at the menu, the word 'style' yet again comes to mind. Simple, straightforward food with one or two interesting additions to raise the bar. Our party of four went for different dishes, each one prepared and presented immaculately. Prawn cocktail, which tasted of prawns rather than mayonnaise; braised beef with Yorkshire pudding, bursting with rich, unctuous flavour (the charred greenery was a masterstroke which added a wonderful barbecued smoke to the plate); light and creamy goats cheese with wonderful sweet additions of caramelised onions, sweet potato purée and candied walnuts; and simple fish, chips and mushy peas, with gossamer-light batter.



Then came desert. This is the bit where things usually become boring, uninspired or just profess to be something they clearly are not! Not in Oliver's however. Wobbly coconut panna cotta with pineapple and chilli salsa which was subtly delicious (even though I personally may have preferred a harder chilli kick). A rich and creamy trio of homemade ice cream, including a very interesting balsamic flavour-odd but really good. Best of all however, was the Carlsberg of lemon tarts. The flavour and texture, I can only describe as outstanding.



All these treats were served by pleasant, friendly and efficient staff. Oliver's is a most welcome addition to Belfast's increasingly impressive restaurant scene. As Sinatra would say, 'it's got style and it stands out a mile!
