Visited this afternoon to see Trolls. A cinema trip is a rare occasion but as my daughter had won a free pass in school it was a lovely excuse! From the guy on the ticket booth to the girl at the popcorn, from the guy checking tickets and to the staff who were cleaning up after. You all made it a lovely afternoon. My four year old lost his teddy and the staff afterwards helped us find him. My five year old then couldn't find her bracelet and they took me back in again and searched our rows. And guess what it was in the car!! Anyway. Keep up the good work, a nice wee treat afternoon for us! Thanks so much! :)

User

Very friendly and helpful staff. Had a minor issue with my loyalty card which was dealt with quickly and painlessly 👍 Me and my son enjoyed Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol 2 in 3D but we are both in agreement that we're going back to see it not in 3D. Minor issue with the glasses we purchased is that there was raised edges on the frames which made them uncomfortable. My son was a genius by putting wine gums behind his ear and on his nose to prevent them feeling uncomfortable 😂 I never knew until we came out that he had done this. We are definitely coming back to you, but not 3D showing as we do prefer just the usual hi def showings we usually would go and see. Highly recommend Eclipse Downpatrick to anyone 👍👌

User

Tonight I held a fundraiser at the Eclipse to help Nicola Beat MS. I highly recommend anyone to have a fundraiser there. Roisin the Manager was truly professional from the start and could not do enough for us. From the bottom of my heart I thank you Roisin and your team! We will see you in October for another fundraiser!! Isabel, Ross &a Gillian

Third time seeing The Greatest Showman

it is a Popular film I’am brave I’am bruised who I’am meant to be This is Me 🎼

User

Love our local cinema - lovely helpful staff and premises are always spotless. Reductions on Tuesdays and senior citizens reduced rates too. Hope the impending new ownership doesn’t have an negative effect on the brilliant service always delivered.

User

Was actually dreading going to the cinema since the change over as the reviews tell a different story from the eclipse which I loved, I can actually say I wasn’t as disappointed as I thought the auditorium was warm the pic and mix I prefer in the cups and the staff were helpful as usual. The prices are only up 30p an adult ticket which is no problem I’m glad they kept the rocker seats too. All in all it wasn’t particularly any different than from Eclipse

User

The cinema def has adjusted their heating, great to finally sit in a warm room with my coat off to watch a movie. Was there yesterday & had a slight issue with unaccompanied teenagers but the manager Roisin was brilliant in dealing with this. The cinema is a bit pricey though not the staff fault & suppose that's just the 2018 prices everywhere now unfortunately. The staff were very friendly & Overall we had a great experience & will def b back

User

Staff are great as usual but the food has gone down hill along with portion size especially the Nachos

User

My son really wanted to see the Thomas film that would be shown for 3 days only but unfortunately there would be no sensory friendly showings. Staff were extremely helpful and tried to get a sensory showing but couldn't and had asked if they could do anything to make his visit better which was very thoughtful.

It would be helpful if when booking things like the Thomas film that maybe 1 out of the 6 could be sensory friendly as he wasn't able to cope with the normal showing. Even with new films aimed at children if there could be more notice with sensory friendly showings, maybe more fb ads of when a showing would be other than the wee ticket to click on the page. There are plenty of fb groups which I would be more than happy to share information of sensory friendly showings with.

Staff were very helpful but just not enough for a child that would benifit from sensory friendly and every child regardless of disabilities should be able to enjoy a film.

User

I could not buy a we bottle of water separately which you could do with the eclipse company. The staff said there only aloud to sell it with a kids pack which is not the staffs fault the Omniplex stupid rules. Also the popcorn could be nicer and fresher

User

The attitude of the staff left a lot to be desired and the price of the confectionary is absolutely ridiculous it cost more than the tickets themselves. For a family of five it cost us £50 Ill definitely buy the DVD and sweets in Poundland for our next movie night.

User

Not impressed - it was plain and ugly in comparison to the welcoming feel and decor Eclipse had. No coffee machine either!! It was cold in the building too, to add to the cold atmosphere. No complaints about the staff, they were more than good as usual. To be honest the ticket prices are too high for the experience - they need to get their fingers and cash out and make the place more welcoming and presentable!!

User

Got nachos and popcorn. No way as nice as they were before the cinema changes hands. Also I don’t like the idea of allocated seating.

User

First visit since the take over. No crisps, no coffee and £3.30 for a bag of Minstrels! Then to make matters worse had to watch the movie with my hat, scarf and coat still on as the auditorium was freezing. Not impressed at all. Eclipse was our cinema of choice every time, now I may have to rethink that.

User

First time visit since Omniplex took over, and not too impressed. The cinema has taken a backward step in our opinion. No complaints about the staff, but no coffee available and we were not permitted to buy a small bottle of water because we were told that can only be purchased as part of a child's combo deal. Seriously? Also, the heating seemed to have been turned down a notch or two. We also think the Omniplex website, while functional, is not as friendly as the Eclipse version. It is however useful to be able to book a seat. Overall, for us, the Downpatrick cinema visit experience has lost some of it's appeal.

User

A real let down in comparison to Eclipse. Please tell me what more you offer the public to justify the prices?! I asked for an extra cup to share sweets between my kids but it’s against company policy. Can’t even get a coffee. Good luck but you’ve lost this families custom. Staff are still lovely this is no reflection on them.

User

very expensive took my sons cold staff weren't very helpful snacks very expensive to cost more for this than actual film long time before we be back i wd travel elsewhere first still prob save money over expensive for such a small town

User

Much more expensive, popcorn is disgusting along with the nachos and they dont even sell crisps or anything alternative anymore, such a down grade from eclipse. Will not be back!!

User

I had my son birthday party here in October, all children attending were autistic, as soon as the food arrived, in front of the other parents was asked to pay for the party, and then every 2 minutes asked were we finished with the room, you can not rush children on the spectrum, the staff especially Anne were very rude, I would like to think the new owners are better, a dog train their staff accordingly to deal with the public,
