We recently had our new build insulated by One Step, now that we have moved in you can really feel the benefit of the insulation. Gary was great to deal with, true to his word on everything that was agreed, and the men on site were clean, tidy and very professional, not to mention very approachable and knowledgeable about the product. No hesitations in recommending One Step Insulation!

We are thrilled by every aspect of this company. From Gary's friendly visit and then on to a fast , thorough, clean, no mess insulation by Paul and a colleague. Which has had a very positive effect on the temperature and wind noise of our home. We would have no hesitation in recommending, this wonderful company.

We are absolutely amazed at the difference this has made to our upstairs which has always been a major issue for us in winter!



Within hours of the insulation being installed we noticed no breeze coming from the bottom of the stairs, the 2 bedrooms upstairs where our children sleep feel so cosy, the kids have barely used their electric blankets this week & haven't needed a few layers of bedclothes, I am absolutely delighted with this product, the only one regret we have is that we didn't get this done sooner!!!

Got my barn done last year the first thing I'll say is the price was a lot less than I was expecting the guys arrived nothing was a problem they were well mannered and respectful they got stuck into the work and got the job done in a day I liked it that much I even left the roof exposed between the beams just looked oldie worldie its toasty warm and so much quieter cool and if I need something else done you'll be my first port of call thanks once again

From the very first contact until completion of the job, my husband and I have been very impressed with One Step Insulation. Shortly after my initial enquiry, Gary called to our home to discuss Icynene, explaining how it works and what I could expect from it. He then surveyed and measured our roof space and gave me a price without any hard sell at all. He left me to discuss it with my husband and we quickly decided to proceed. Gary gave us a date and any further enquiries we had were answered swiftly and courteously.



On the day of the install, the team arrived on time and got to work quickly. (We chose to leave our house for 24 hours as, with 4 children, we were a little worried about the chemicals - although my husband returned to check the job just before the installers left.)



On returning to our house, it was absolutely spotless although there was a fairly strong chemical smell, a bit like paint fumes. We aired the house for around half an hour and that removed most of it. By the following day, we barely noticed the scent at all.



I am delighted to report that even though it has only been 3 days since the work was carried out, our house is already warmer, particularly upstairs. A very problematic bedroom above our garage which is always freezing cold and which my teenage daughter sleeps in, is much more comfortable and noticeably warmer. Needless to say she is delighted and she is no longer shivering in there or layering up her clothes! That in itself makes the job worthwhile.



I measured the temperature of each room in the house prior to the install and in every single room the temperature has increased by between 1 to 3 degrees - although I expect this will improve further as our house had a major damp problem and is probably still drying out. Most notable is the fact that there has been absolutely no condensation at all on our main bedroom window, which is virtually unheard of for our house!



Although we don't live in a noisy area, I have also noticed less outside noise from cars on the main road nearby and the air in the house feels comfortably dry rather than full of moisture!



I'm looking forward to a cosy winter now and to seeing decreased oil heating usage as well as a lower electricity bill hopefully!

After threatening to do something to improve the insulation in the roofspace of our chalet bungalow we eventually bit the bullet.

Gary visited, did a survey, gave us a price & was able to give an approximate start date on the spot. Once a day was set, everything ran to plan. Guys arrived early and had a difficult enough job polished off in 5 hours.

We notice the difference already & hopefully will also escape the too warm upstairs, come the summer.
