great place, very professional and clean looking. Such lovely guys too andvery professional and chatted away to me which makes me feel 10x more comfortable and relaxed. Stuart gave me advice on what saline solution to use along with showing me the equipment was sterile and safe, and talked me through what he was going to do. Definitely recommended this place and would go back for future piercings!

Would recommend anyone looking to get pierced to go to OTHERSIDE. Was the first piercing I had in years so was pretty nervous going in, but both guys where so helpful and understanding. Stu is a complete gentleman explained everything to me and made be feel so relaxed. Even going out of their way when I asked about booking in for another piercing, fitting me in the same day to save me another trip into Belfast. Will definitely be back in the future..

Since coming to Otherside I've never let anyone else come near me with a needle. Stu has done all of my piercings since then and has been fantastic, not only giving a perfect piercing but also making me feel completely at ease the entire time. The best testament is when he stitched up my ear that I had stretched. It took 45 minutes and I don't think I could have sat through it if it was anyone other than Stu doing it. Also the result was incredible.

Lovely fellas when I went in chatting away, made to feel very comfortable. The fella showed me everything he was going to be using and the fact it was still sterile, talked me threw aftercare, have to go back in 2 weeks time to get the swell bar changed, and even gave me a bottle of water for leaving. Will deffo be back! Thanks again �

Just out after having my septum pierced which is now the 4th time I’ve been to see Stu and as usual he was fantastic. I was so nervous but he calmed me right down and in the end it really wasn’t so bad lol. Can always trust him to do everything to the highest of standards.

Ive had many piercings done with stu but recently I got my septum, medusa and vertical labret done and i honestly wouldn't go anywhere else they are amazing at what they do very professional, friendly and make you feel at ease I couldn't recommend this studio enough, I'm so happy with my piercings thanks again! :)

I came here because lots of people told me it was the best, and they weren't wrong ^_^ the shop is spotless, both staff lovely and very professional, and patient when I was awkward and changed my mind 😁



I got 5 piercings, Stuart talked me through what he was doing at each step and why he does it that way and really helped me relax. Some were redoing ones I'd had before and were definitely less painful this time, and I was eating a couple of hours later without any issues despite just having my tongue done! Will definitely be back :D

Hadn't been pierced in a few years so was a tad nervous, but as always Stu makes you feel totally at ease. Professional, informative and always great for a chat, wouldn't pay anyone else to poke holes in my face! Couldn't be happier.

Had a triple forward helix done on Saturday. Had been putting off getting this pierced for ages as I wasn’t sure if there would be room for 3 on my ear. Stu took the time to look at my ear & make sure there was enough room there for 3 and made me feel really at ease. Really happy I’ve had it done now, very professional service. Thank you! �

Got spider bite piercing done here back in March. This my first lip piercing as was nervous as me & needles don't go prefer being tattooed anytime lol. I made Stu aware of this and he was very professional and talked me through it all. All was not smooth tho as one of the piercings and bar had fallen out, I swiftly rang the shop to let Stu know and he seen me within 48 hours and put a new bar into it for me at no cost. I then had to go back within 2 weeks to get both bars downside and Stu had trouble getting one of the bars etc through, not gonna lie it was sore. Again he was professional as ever and could fault the service �. Wouldn't pass here and would highly recommend to anyone.

Got my third piercing (upper helix) from here today and love it just as much as the other two! Stu is great at making sure he knows exactly what you want and where you want it. I wouldn’t go anywhere else, so friendly and professional. If you’re looking to get pierced in Belfast, definitely go here.

Got my nose pierced earlier today and had a super smooth and friendly experience. Receptionist was friendly and professional when I made my appointment and Stu was super knowledgeable, telling me about the metal used in the piercing etc while still making the experience quick, hassle free and as painless as it could be.

Got my forward Helix done here. I am not a fan of needles (a bit ironic seeing that I have a tattoo here and there.) . Stu was great, kept me chilled and we had a fun time having a conversation about hedgehogs after piercing. Will be back

Got my first piercing here (nostril) and he explained that things were sterile and that it would only hurt very briefly and had a tissue ready. Was a smooth and great experience and I'm very happy with my piercing.

Got a piercing here today and i’m so happy with my experience! Best piercing shop in Northern Ireland hands down, so clean and respectful. Stu is such a lovely man who knows how to make you feel safe and at ease so quickly ! Wouldn’t believe a negative review on this page as he couldn’t be more helpful and kind, thank you so much for making my piercing a positive experience!�

Got 2 helix piercings done here a number of weeks ago and have to say I was abit nervous. But my experience was made so much easier by he friendliness of the staff and a really clean sterile environment! Though I am still abit sore and healing I am going back again for a third. Would throughly recommend!! ��

Awesome guys, great studio. Clean, sterile instruments and environment. I've had my daith and third lobe piercings done by Stuart now and I wouldn't even consider anyone else for any future piercings. Daith healed well and without issue (which is a small miracle for me), and Stu changed the jewellry in it for me today after piercing my lobes. As an added bonus I got to hear all about his cats! Thanks again, guys.

After a struggle to find a piercing artist who could do the job i wanted i stumbled upon this place. Soooo professional, friendly and totally non judgemental. I will use this place exclusively for my piercings from now on...and I live in England! Will be back...

I'm gutted. Don't get me wrong I absolutely loved the guy who pierced my ear - he was absolutely fantastic....really put me at ease and was very professional. On the otherside of the coin I feel the front of house wasn't very helpful at all esp today.

I went to get a piercing done in April and was told to return 8 weeks after so the bar could be changed to a smaller bar. I went in 8 weeks later but they couldn't fit me in that day and then I was heading away on holiday which is fair enough so I called today explaining the bar/piercing they had put in had snapped a few days ago (probably because it was so lose and required a smaller bar). I also explained my ear is now VERY sore and he gave it "I can fit you in in 5 days time". No urgency. He just didn't care and not one bit of concern that my piercing snapped and my ear is hurt and swollen. :( ......intial service....great. After care....not so much.
