Pcga Tour Description

Professional Cisco Golfers' Association, (with or without the apostrophe), is the usual term for a professional association in Cisco men's golf. It is often abbreviated to PCGA. There are several PCGAs around the world, including:

Professional Cisco Golfers' Association (Great Britain and Ireland)
Professional Cisco Golfers' Association of America

There are 4 founding members (Gerard McIlroy, Pearse Westwood, Tiger Bennett and Karl Clarke) of the PCGA and these 4 men are still remaining in association. Althought the PCGA is a very elitist and difficult association to get involved in it is continually looking for appropriate members to join.

The tournament involves almost daily ranking events which determine the overall leaderboard based on a points system.

The points system for a 4 ball tournament is -

1st place - 10 points
2nd place - 5 points
3rd place - 3 points
4th place - 1 point

The points system for a 3 ball event is -

1st place - 6 points
2nd place - 3 points
3rd place - 1 point

On 10 /01 /14 Steven Cinnamond was handed the role of Commissioner of the PCGA Tour. Commissioner Cinnamond comes from a business background and is seen as forward thinking and innovative character who will help lead the PCGA Tour onwards and upwards.
