We've had a few questions about how many prawns are in a bag and what size the prawns are. All bags are a minimum of 40g in weight. We sort the bags into sizes as some of you like to use a small prawn for grilse or as a pointer and some like a decent size prawn for the spring season.
Here's an indication of what you can expect from our bags of prawns.
Small - At least 35 prawns per bag minimum 40g of weight. Prawns are up to 1½ inch in length.... Medium - Approximately 30 prawns per bag minimum 40g of weight. Prawns 1 - 2½ inch in length. Large - Minimum 40g of weight. Prawns are approximately 2 - 3½ inches in length. Extra Large - Minimum 40g of weight. Prawns are at least 3 inches in length.
We post across the UK and Ireland with P&P starting at £3.50. Free P&P if we're able to meet up with you. PM us to order or if you have any questions.
