As a photographer the weekends are not for relaxing and sometimes it seems like things never slow down. Each new week is a different venue, location, wedding and families all with their own unique memories to be captured. I love it all and feel truly blessed that I get to call this my job.
But when I do find moments to reflect and unwind, I love to do it with a lovely glass of Rose wine. Something about a glass of wine makes for a perfect compliment to my need to chill.
What’s your go-to beverage when you want to relax?

On Saturday at the Rosspark Hotel, Kells, Alan & Emma said "I Do" surrounded by family & friends and became to new Mr & Mrs Gorman!!
Thank you for sharing such a special day with me and have a fab honeymoon around the med!!

PHOTOGRAPHER BECOMES THE BRIDE - UNPLUGGED CEREMONY
As a photographer there are moments throughout the day that are that extra bit special for a couple. Two of these extra special moments are the aisle walk when the bride makes her arrival and when the couple leave as husband and wife.
These are moments that can't be redone and these moments are sometimes harder to capture than you would imagine with the invention of the camera phone. I know everything wants a pic for thems...elves to remember the day but when the aisle walks are full of phones it really does spoil that image for a couple. They want to see you cheer, applaud, smile, be in the moment not in your phone.
So this is why we have chosen to have an unplugged ceremony for our day. We want to see those smiles and happy faces as we walk down the aisle as husband & wife!
I would encourage all couples to do this and get those fab pics with all your guests sharing the memory with you. There are plenty of opportunities throughout the day to for guests to capture their own memories of such a happy occasion.

I’ve been a wedding and family photographer for going on 7 years now. I used to pride myself on capturing more natural moments, real laughs, emotions and moments in time. Real moments rather than stiff posed images.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ These days, I realise nothing has changed with the exception of I feel so much more confident than I did when I started out that clients love my style of work! On Tuesday Stephen & Emma got married!! I just loved this couple! Stephen had every organised perfectly and Emma must have been the most laid back bride I've worked with. Even during bridal prep when she couldn't find the lace for the tie back on her dress she didn't stress lol
Another amazing day spent with a fabulous couple in the stunning Corick House Hotel and Spa. Thank you for an incredible day.

I bet if you asked my best friend to describe me in just three words, they’d likely call me easy-going, thoughtful and supportive. They’re right, I guess…but I’d probably throw hilarious in there as well 🤪😜
And according to my clients, I’m friendly, creative, and fun. I couldn’t be more thankful!

Do you ever feel that you are getting somewhere only to realise there is still so much more to do!?
I feel that I need to clone myself sometimes to get everything done that I actually want to do! I have still so many gorgeous weddings to share on my blog and with you all but finding the hours is proving a difficult task!
However, I put my clients first before the blogging and social media sharing as I want them to have the best experience. So my priority is editing and gettin...g images back to my amazing clients as soon as possible. You come first over any web like as you are the people who matter most, the people that trust me with their happy memories.

I’m at my personal best pretty much right at 8 am. I get up, enjoy my coffee, and I’m usually ready to go from there.

Each new month feels like a fresh start—a chance for new things that are even better than last month’s things.
And on that note, now is the perfect time to relax with a glass of wine on a summers evening and get your wedding planning started. It can be a bit daunting searching the cyber universe for your photographer but I believe that I can offer you something unique.
My laid back approach and ability to put you at ease in front of the camera will help you enjoy your weddin...g instead of feeling you never got time to do anything except pose of photographs. I love to work fast giving you the time to spend with guests and will help you plan the timings on the day to ensure you get that time. I'm always asked at weddings if I'm a family friend and it's because I talk to everyone like I've known them for years, even if we've just met. I get that from my Dad for sure lol

Tell me something about YOU before I get carried away...many of you already know I’m a photographer who posts a ton about my business, and not infrequently about my desire to lose some weight.
But every now and again I like to toss up a post that tells you some things about me you probably didn’t know. And since it’s properly into the summer season, this post’s theme will be entirely summer related. Ready?
I live for summer weather. I find that the summer sun, when we see it..., brings out the best in people. Everyone has that extra spring in their step when the sun is shining bright.
This summer, I’m really into healthier eating, well trying to be, I've to fit into that wedding dress in 4 weeks time!!! Yesterday, I maybe fell off the wagon with an ice cream and some crisps but I did have my hen party on Saturday night lol
My fave thing to do on a clammy morning is throw open the windows in the house and let the air flow in, hearing the birds sing as they pass. Oh and I love nothing more than seeing the kids play outside instead of glued to a device of some sort.

I'm out on my hen with the girlies, plenty of drinks, food and music as we spend the day in Belfast celebrating in style in our amazing capital city.
So wherever you are please raise a glass of your favourite tipple and celebrate with me!

On Thursday I had so much fun with Ashley & Holly as they became husband and wife!
Before travelling to their reception at Corick House Hotel and Spa the couple stopped at Fintona Golf Club for their portraits. And check out the amazing cute little car!!

I love these "Getting To Know You Sessions"! I love meeting up with a couple before their wedding day to get some beautiful images for them before they become husband and wife.
The real reason I include them in my wedding packages is so that couples can see how easy it is to get lots of amazing images without spending hours doing it. It also shows my couples how much fun you can actually have while in front of a camera.
