Fishing over the weekend was good , with temperatures up fish have started feeding well, here is David Gibson with a lovely little common. David and two friends had a great day catching plenty of Carp and Skimmers .
This weekend temperatures are set to hit the high teens , this should be a great weekend for the fishery and will really switch the fish on !

The fishery is continuing to produce the goods. This lovely mirror was caught by Graham Curran on a weirdly mild day. Nice one.

Hard to believe this fish was spawn 6 months ago. We have had a super spawning season with a lot of small carp in the lakes.

Had a quick look in one of our stock ponds today, some cracking looking fish there. They’ve had a great summer for growing .

Please do not fish anywhere near the aerators , long air pipes are connected to these and if you hook a fish it will wrap itself round the pipe causing itself harm.

Great to see success from last years spawning ! The doughnut lake is full of these little carp!
Currently the carp are very actively spawning and the lake will remain closed until things cool down .

Caught on the surface in the small square lake at the back of the fishery. Nice😎

Things really started to heat up at the fishery . Stevie had a great day catching plenty of carp , he had some quality fish fishing tight in the margins . Finally spring is here !!

Today we checked one of our stock ponds to see how our small carp have overwintered . This time last year we got these fish at 2-4” . It was great to see that they have done very well and most of these fish are now 8-10” with a few fish slightly bigger 😳

Spring is definitely in the air!!👌🎣

Gary Barritt had a good day today at the fishery , Gary fished peg 3, it’s a very comfortable peg for fishing the pole, it’s 12/13 metres across to the island , but Gary reported that most of the fish came from the margins today! Well done Gary, great day!

Paul Pyper took advantage of the mild weather yesterday and had a great day at the fishery , here he is landing a nice 5lb common, Paul had plenty of carp all taken on the method feeder.
Maybe a sign that spring is just around the corner ?

9 matchmen had a knock up at Polehill at the weekend on a roach only 4 hour match. The weather had just turned for the worse temperature wise so catches were bad. Johnny Keith won with a weight of just over 9lb.

Paul Pyper did an All Nighter on our Square lake and had some lovely clean never hooked carp. Nice one Paul.

The middle lake is a lovely little lake with plenty of carp, tench and silverfish , the carp are mainly of a smaller size but do go up to 6lb
The square lake is a cracking little lake with a really good head of carp up to 9lb and plenty of decent size skimmer bream averaging 1.5lb.

Super little fishery loads of carp I really love going there peace and quiet to sit and fish can be challenging at times depending were you fish has three lakes donught middle and square at the back !most of the carp are in donught but other contain a good head of fish square at back good carp and bream haven't fished middle for a long time but has some nice carp give it a go you won't be disappointed

Such a lovely place to fish, and those hard fighting carp kept coming, loved it, i will be back!!

Had my first day here yesterday. Although I only got a couple of hours I still managed double figures. I landed tench roach skimmers and mirrors. Unfortunately the mirrors were only about a pound but on light elastic gave a great scrap. I will be back for a longer session next time for sure.

Had my first day at the fishery today absolutely brilliant will be back again very soon really tidy and well maintained loads of fish had my first carp ever plus plenty of roach and skimmers all fish in absolute pristine condition

Had a great days fishing with Wayne Megson 27/sept 2017 caught over 30 fish between us had a 6and a 7 lb common

Great day throuhout, caught fish from first cast to last.

A couple of nice carp to 3 lb which was great on 3lb line and 16 hook.

Fished the other day. Was hard at first but once I learned the water fishing was great. 5 carp in the last 2 hours including a 5.5 lb mirror which fought hard. Great place

First time fishing for carp in Northern Ireland - Had a great day.started on pellet feeder but switched to sticky baits krill white 12mm boilies and had 32 carp using a method feeder with krill 4mm pellets,marine halibut ground bait and chilli hemp.full of hard fighting carp.Definately be back later this week!!!!

Excellent place everyone so cheerful and all the fish are very powerful will defo be there more often.
