If you would like to learn Irish Traditional Music / Singing , why not come along to our music classes. Newcomers are always welcome and all levels from beginner to advanced level will be catered for. We look forward to welcoming everyone - young and old ! .

Comhaltas Ceoltoiri Eireann Pomeroy Branch was formed in 2007 after major interest expressed in traditional music, song and dance.

Classes commenced then in the early autum of that year, including families of neighbouring parishes. Classes continue on a Tuesday night from 7pm-9pm

Teachers: Fiddle - Claire McCrystal, Banjo - Bronagh Graham, Tin-Whistle /Flute - Clodagh Holland, Traditional Singing - Ciara Fox.

Classes are in a 5 week block with a 'family session' at of each block, where tunes are played, songs sang, steps danced and a cupan tae enjoyed by all!

Each year we have produced a festival of music incorporating master classess in instrumental music and singing with an eclectic mix of tutors from all over Ireland.
