Brilliant to see so many students turn out for this morning's competition sessions. Thanks to all the mums and dads for dragging them outta their beds so early, as pay back they should all sleep soundly tonight π Great improvement guys. Indebted to Tiarnan for his technical expertise setting up the scoreboard π
Sarah after receiving her Student of the Month certificate which was awarded for her good attendance, enthusiasm and hard work. She also displayed great sporting attitude during the recent North South Open competition where she won a bronze medal in kumite. Well done π

A few of the competitors from last week's North South Open.
Well done to all our students who competed in the North South Open today in Belfast. Whilst some of them didn't win a medal everyone gained valuable experience competing with some very experienced athletes and did themselves and the club proud.
Many thanks to Brendan for coaching throughout the day and to Sharon for looking the students. Also to Tiarnan, Hayley, Gary and Angela for running the club whilst we were away. These guys continually give up their own time for the be...nefit of the club without whom none of this would be possible.

Well... what can I say....that's the madness of the Christmas party over for another year. No balloon stomp this year though we made up for it with good old fashioned favourites like musical chairs, tug o war and rock, paper, scissors all of which everyone seemed to enjoy π
Christmas is a time of giving and it gave us such a warm, fuzzy feeling inside to give you back your kids all hyped up on sugary drinks and jellied sweets π€ͺπ€ͺ...you're very welcome.
I'd like to thank Santa'...s helpers this morning- Angela, Gary, Sharon and Tiarnan for giving up their Saturday morning and trying to help keep some order to the mayhem ππ
Thanks to all of you brought in gifts for us and supplies for the party, all very much appreciated π
That's the club closed now and will reopen again on Thursday 9th January 2020, usual times. With a couple of competitions early on next year we hope to see you all back then, well rested and eager to get back to some serious training ππ₯
