I am Lorraine McKenna and I am a trained Babywearing Consultant. I want to help you:

- Wear your baby in a sling /carrier
- Find a sling /carrier that suits your needs
- Ensure that baby is in the correct position

I offer one-to-one consultations in my home or in your home. By the end of a consultation you will feel confident in wearing your baby in a sling /carrier.

History of Babywearing
Babywearing is as old as mankind. Our nomadic ancestors wore their babies in slings made from bark, leaves and animal skins. Thankfully we now have more sophisticated slings and carriers but ultimately they do the same job.

Why babywear?
- Babywearing is affectionate physical contact and promotes healthy development

- Babywearing makes everyday life easier for parents and gives their child security making it easier to meet everybody's needs

- Babywearing is more than a technique, it is also a positive tool for a life with children

Fee
Mini Consultation (30 Minutes) - £10
Suitable for those with experience of babywearing and are interested in getting some extra tips and tweaking what they are currently doing

Full Consultation (60-120 Minutes) - from £20
Suitable for those with no /limited experience in babywearing. It is an indepth focused session and will be tailored to you and your baby's needs.

Please note that I charge travelling expenses if I am travelling to you.
