Room was very clean and peaceful. Checking in and checking out was hassle free. If heading in to town a taxi is necessary but other than that a great stay.

Looks like a new build from the outside but is somewhat outdated on the inside. My room constantly smelled of cigars and bathroom smelled like someone had urinated all over the place, it stunk! However the beds are really comfortable that's a positive. And moving on to the Brewers Fayre the food is so expensive this seems to be the case in every Brewers Fayre I have visited. not everyone can afford a £10.00 burger and they're not very big....

Our room was very warm and stuffy, and you can't open the windows. My wife asked for a fan, as she has COPD, as was told they don't have fans. We had to buy one ourselves. The pillows were not the usual really comfortable Premier Inn pillows, they seemed really soft cheap pillows. We had the worst night's sleep we have ever had in a Premier Inn. The Breakfast buffet the next morning was a disappointment. The 'hot' food was at best lukewarm! To cap it all off, when we checked out, all we got was a goodbye, not even do much as "How was your stay?". We were very disappointed as this hotel was nothing like any other Premier Inn we had stayed in before.

My partners chicken dinner arrived completely uncooked. She ate it and noticed. We both feel totally sick. The chicken was raw. (even my chicken wasn't cooked correctly) the food felt microwaved. (to add though, we have ate here a few times, last time we were here the chips weren't cooked correctly, and our meals were absent included items like coleslaw because they were out of stock. But usually everything is OK. But tonight is totally uncalled for. What if we get food poisoning. Will the chef/cook even care. It's a disgrace. (fair play to manager though, he wasn't happy) but let's put things into perspective, it his staff handing out raw uncooked food. I'd goto town on them. Heads would rolls.

There was myself, my husband and our 2 children aged 5 and 11. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves! The hotel was amazing!! We couldn't have asked for any better. The staff were so friendly and helpful and the room was fantastic. And just across the way inside the actual hotel is Brewers Fayre where you get your all you can eat breakfast (kids eat free!) And then you can have your dinner there too! The food is so so good!! Definitely recommend this hotel for short stays or even longer stays! Definitely excellent value for money!

Rooms small but sufficient bigger tv would be good. Friendly staff and in a good area close for commuting. The bed was a bit too soft for me but the shower was great.

Stayed here last month, lovely homely hotel. Beds extremely comfortable & room a great size. Only downside was Windows don't open so no fresh air, just air-conditioning which was very effective but slightly noisy.
