Priory Integrated College
Reviews
I feel like we're getting treated like we're in primary school
I went here when it was called Holywood High. It was re-branded to Priory College in the early 90's with a focus on integration of varying faith and religious beliefs. As with any school, the teaching staff are the foundation for its success. I had ample opportunity to further my education but nobody cared enough to see that I wasn't pushing myself. I was able to do the minimum amount of work (of which there was very little).
One of the history teachers even threatened me outside class after wrongly assuming I had shouted out obscenities (Quick tip, if the quiet boy has never been a troublemaker, why would they suddenly shout out obscenities?)
There were a few great teachers such as Ms Stewart, Ms Cranston, Ms Scarlett (Ok class....Fingers on the keyboard!)
Having had nieces just graduate from it, I'm told the school has improved somewhat. It still isn't comparable to higher grade schools when it comes to Gcse and A level results but it has almost certainly become a lot better.
Seems to be good
I work here so I am slightly biased but I think it is a brilliant school ad I am proud to be a staff member
