As the summer edges ever closer, the mornings get brighter and the days grow longer we all I want to make use of the extra Vitamin D.
However with the warmer weather and brighter evenings, usually the reports of Anti-social Behaviour also start to increase.
Here officers from D Section Armagh Local Policing Team, are on foot patrol in a local park.
... Can you guess where they are?

We all love the good weather - particularly a bank holiday weekend! As things heat up, we realise that we aren’t designed for this kind of heat and try to create moving cool air in our houses by leaving doors, windows or patio doors open.
Now - that is all well and good if you are about the house or garden and alert to things going on around you…
... Just don’t leave windows and doors open if going elsewhere – it creates an easy way for any sticky fingered opportunist thieves/burglars to avail themselves of YOUR bank cards, YOUR hard earned cash, Your mobile phone, YOUR ID or even YOUR car keys (and likely YOUR car if they get those!).
On that note – if you do see someone acting suspiciously around neighbours houses - please ring it in on 101.
If you feel that a crime is about to or is in the process of being committed call us on 999 and give us the best chance to get there quickly.
When reporting if it is people try to remember anything noticeable –good descriptions can go a long way. If it’s a vehicle try to get the registration – if not a make/model and colour can definitely help.

Good News Post
As some may remember on Easter Sunday we posted about recovering stolen alloy wheels from a local vehicle. Yesterday Brownlow NPT arrested and charged a female for Possessing Criminal Property (the wheels) Obstructing Police, Fraud by False Representation, Driving While Disqualified and No Insurance. After a search of their home a large quantity of money was located and seized by Police.
The female appeared in Craigavon Magistrates court today where she was fo...und guilty on all counts. The stolen alloys have been returned to their rightful owner.
We also recently appealed for information about a scrambler bike stolen from Hamilstonsbawn. Today whilst on patrol in Craigavon, Brownlow NPT heard a scrambler on the move throughout the estates. With some help from our eyes in the sky police detained a male on suspicion of a number of offences.
Wee tip next time you think of offending...you can try and change clothes, ditch your helmet into the lakes and pretend to be out for a run..you ain’t getting away😂
More stolen property returned to its rightful owner💪🏼
Thank you for the help of all the public in both of these matters. Without your eyes we are nothing! Team work makes the dream work! 👌🏻

Massive game for Portadown FC tonight!
Here in ABC, we always like to see our local teams do well. We would like to wish good luck to the players and fans of Portadown who will be travelling to Carrickfergus tonight for the playoff game v Carrick Rangers.
Specialist PSNI officers from ABC district will be in attendance to support our colleagues in Carrickfergus. We hope all the excitement and focus stays on the pitch where it belongs and a safe, enjoyable night is had by all....
This time last year, 6 Portadown fans found themselves in the Criminal Justice system after a game in Newry. We do hope there is no repeat this year.

This was found on the side of a house in Markethill, and has happened sometime between the 13th and 27th April.
There are several things it could be... It's not exactly a Banksy, but it could be a 'tag' of some description. It could be work men marking something for pending work.... It could also be, whilst highly unlikely due to its size and prominence, a marker left by criminals.
The other option of course is that it's kids.
If you know who or what is responsible for it, or have seen it anywhere else, please give us a ring on 101. The reference number is 442 of 27/04/19.
'Other M' out in Armagh Station is wile confused by the whole carry on. Get in touch and help him out.

We’re aware that phone scammers have been making calls in the Armagh area offering to fix a fault with your router from a certain broadband provider - so just a reminder to be vigilant!
Fraudsters will go to any length to scam people out of money and you might think it might never happen to you, but it can.
Our advice is simple. If something sounds too good to be true, it usually is. No matter how good the offer is, or how convincing these cold callers sound, be wary of any... individual who cold calls you.
Never allow any cold caller remote access to your computer, no matter how genuine or convincing they sound. Be especially suspicious of anyone who asks for personal details, money, banking or credit card information via the telephone. Once a scammer is in a victim’s computer and personal details are given by the victim, their online bank accounts can be accessed and significant amounts of money lost; money they may never get back. Thankfully that did not happen in this case.
The scammers may also advise their intending victim they’re due a financial refund and ask for details of their bank account in relation to this, which they will then target.
If you have any suspicions at all about a call you receive, hang up and phone the organisation the person is claiming to represent to check their authenticity. Ideally, make a call from another telephone so you can be sure the original caller has not remained on the line. Never be pressured into a transaction over the phone.
If you’ve had an experience like this, or require any further advice and information call us on on 101. Advice and information can also be obtained by visiting nidirect.gov.uk/scamwise or the Scamwise NI Facebook page.
And remember if you can spot a scam, you can stop a scam.
