Queens Basketball Club Description
The Queen’s Club was formed in 1991. The Queen’s Club is based in Queen’s PEC.
Our catchment area is the greater Belfast district.
We have boys and girls Under 10, 12, 14, 16 & 18 competing in the local Ulster leagues. We also have players, in each age group, representing the Queen’s Club, on Ulster teams, on the Schools Area Board Development teams and on Irish teams.
We run a summer camp each year in Queen's PEC where we coach approximately 150 children. This is an opportunity to improve the skills of our current players and secondly to introduce and encourage new players to the sport.
The coaches at the camp are mostly senior players who have completed their coaching qualifications and are helping to develop players of the future.
