Message from Roisin: On the 11th January 2019 I was guided to go to India. I was guided by Spirit to go to Jaipur and that all would be revealed. In India we met a beautiful man called Mahendra and he guided us to the poor villages, the poor schools and to really see what was going on behind the scenes. One of the main things I learned from India is that we as a race can be selfish but as well as selfish we can be greedy, we can be needy and we never have enough. As you ste...p into India with all its complexities and madness, it blows you open, it breaks you free of the limitations. It really teaches you about the importance of life. We met some beautiful teachers who served for 24 and 26 years in their schools with not even one table - think about this. And even though the children were so happy, their hearts were so light, the basic human needs were not there to give them a comfortable existence – the chair, the table, the flooring, the fan the water, the toys. You can do so much with so little in India - money goes a long way. So with the many personal awakenings that I went through, India is now very deep in my heart. We held a Clearing meditation for the children and they became very emotional as they released. In the three separate schools we visited, we gave computers, books, stationery and toys. We visited an orphanage with HIV children. It is amazing what we can do if we decide to just do it. It is amazing what we do not do when we think about it. So I would say to everybody, just do it. Just do it and watch what happens. From the cows on the street and the camel walking by, the elephant, the beautiful painted colours, from the rickshaws and the endless tooting horns, from the madness of 10 lanes of traffic going in every direction there was an incredible beauty in it all. There was no anger or road rage. There was co-operation in the madness. With so many people there has to be co-operation at a level. We met so many people who were so lovely – from our driver Rajess, to Mahendra my warrior and volunteer, I look forward to returning to India soon and touching people’s lives. Rainbow Lighthouse is creating a separate organisation to organise and go forward with Roisin’s charitable work and more information will be available later in February.
