It’s a long way to Tipperary (well not really anymore with the new motorways etc)! The 1st XV will travel to Nenagh Ormond in their opening AIL fixture on 5th October before welcoming Buccaneers to Hatrick Park on the 12th October. Full fixtures in link below. #ROBRFC 🔴⚫️🏉

The rugby season is fast approaching ...
Youth pre-season training will start on Wednesday 7th August at 7.30pm on the grass pitch. This training is for U18s and U16s with the U14 and U12 groups starting on Wednesday 28th August. From Wednesday 28th August training for all groups will be on the 3G pitch. U12s and U14s will train from 7.30-8.30pm and U16s and U18s will train from 8.00pm-9.30pm.
Ovie has just remembered that pre-season starts again next Tuesday!
Interested in becoming a Rugby Coach? The next Stage 3 course being held by the Ulster Branch and the IRFU is on our doorstep! - in Magherafelt at the Rainey School. The course is delivered over two days Saturday 10th August: 09:30 – 19:00 and Sunday 11th August: 09:15 – 17:45

Stage 3 Course (Level 1) The Level 1 course is for coaches working with 15-a-side teams dealing with principles of play by developing them through the use of key factor analysis, applied to the individual skills, mini-unit skills, unit and team skills. At the end of the course the coach is expected to identify and rectify technical deficiencies.

Wow another wet Wednesday but it didn't dampen the spirits of our girls. Last night of their #GIAT IRFU rugby programme and the fun continued. Thanks to all for joining us the last few weeks and a big thank-you to David McClelland and Frances Martin who coached the girls. 😊👏
