About Rasharkin Community Playgroup
Rasharkin Community Playgroup provides preschool care for children aged 3-4 years old. We are located in Bamford Park, Rasharkin.
Rasharkin Community Playgroup Description
Rasharkin Community Playgroup was established in 1985, from then we have moved from Rasharkin Presbyterian Church Hall, to the Community Centre and now to our newly structured top of the range building located in Bamford Park near Rasharkin Primary School. The Playgroup operates 5 days a week from 09. 15 am to 12. 00 pm this is to facilitate our funded pre-school children, with an afternoon session on a Monday and a Wednesday running from 1. 00 pm to 3. 00 pm, the afternoon sessions are there to facilitate pre-pre-school children. We were recently inspected by Causeway Health and Social Services Trust and in February 2014 we were inspected by the Education Training Inspectorate (ETI) and received a good inspection grade.

Reviews
Just some of the lovely books the children picked today at Kilrea Library. We really enjoyed the stories and rhymes. Anne and Jean the librarians thought we were really good at listening and we have to come back again soon .
The children are looking forward to welcoming Jo Jingles to playgroup tomorrow.
Rasharkin Community Playgroup are now accepting Childcare Vouchers .
We are looking forward to getting back to Playgroup. We re-open on Monday 3rd of September at 9.15am . 😀
Well what a fantastic morning we had . We were so proud of each and every child today as they stood on the stage and sung the songs they had picked to sing to their families. The staff once again would like to thank the committee for making this year such a success. To our parents who supported us in every event activity etc. we asked them to , for the generous and thoughtful gifts we appreciated your kindness. Finally I hope you all have a very happy and safe summer .
Graduation tomorrow morning in Rasharkin Community Centre . If all children come to the community centre in their white t-shirts at 9.15 am please .
We are to have some hot weather over the next few days so please remember to apply sun cream to your child and send a sun hat . Thanks hope to have lots of outdoor play in our last few days .
A big thank you to Lynda from Jo Jingles who finished up with us today for summer. But we are delighted to say she will be back next year with us . The children thoroughly enjoyed all the singing and music 🎵
We have playgroup assistants post vacant at the minute can I please ask all the parents and friends to share this post and spread the word.
