Update on the RDA Coleraine's Ballycastle Beach Race Ten teams will be accepted for this event, so get your names down soon! Jumping will be over barrels or bales. This is a fun event for horses and ponies with the emphasis on fun! All proceeds to a great local charity!’

RDA Coleraine' Festival Volunteers Event, to celebrate the Award of Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council Area Volunteer Award for 2018, sponsored by Coleraine Times and associated papers. We were pleased to host the Mayor, Councillor Brenda Chivers, and Wendy Holmes of TESCO, who presented a donation of over £640 as the result of the TESCO used book sales.

The Mayors Reception for the Coleraine Group who attended the Irish Special Olympics in Dublin in June 2018. Also showing the Ulster Equestrian Team, who trained for the event at RDA Coleraine, The Mayor with James Christie of RDA Coleraine, who won two Gold medals, and the Mayor with Christine Hankin and Helen Christie, Instructors at RDA Coleraine. As a sport, Equestrianism is different to most others, as the riders meet their competition horse at the event, and have only a short time to practice with it. After all, grass and water are much the same in Belfast and Dublin, but Riders have to deal with an unknown horse.

RDA Coleraine Car Boot Sale - pictures of the various stalls - thank you for attending, and look out for future Car Boot dates. Together with the Dog Show and Horse Show, and the Volunteer Event, the Festival Weekend was a great success. Thanks and congratulations to the organisers and helpers, and the Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council (CC&GBC), and the Department for Communities (DfC) for their financial support.

Just a quick reminder that all those who are involved with helping RDA Coleraine in any capacity are very welcome this evening at 7pm to enjoy a cuppa and bun, as our thanks for everything people do, and to celebrate RDA volunteers achievement of the Sports Volunteer of the Year Award from Causeway Coast and Glens.

Bushmills Co-op Coffee Morning in support of RDA Coleraine, Charity of the Year. -thanks to Paula and the Co-op, to Helen and her team of helpers, and especially all who attended on a pleasant morning, and who contributed so generously. A total of £145 was raised.

As you are hopefully aware, RDA Coleraine volunteer team were honoured to receive the Causeway Coast and Glens Volunteer of the year award. This is a wonderful and much appreciated recognition of the ongoing effort needed to make RDA Coleraine the success that it is. As a thank you to our volunteer team, we would like to invite all our volunteers to a coffee and cake evening next Friday 3rd August at 7 pm. This includes those involved in supporting every aspect of our organisation. Please pm attendance and we hope to see you then!

I have been at a few shows here recently and actually volunteered here for a while helping with disabled children ! The staff and volunteers at this centre are second to none and the shows are so well run and I find the arenas both indoor and out fantastic to jump on ! And so handy to get to just down the motorway !fantastic
