About Red Balloon Creative Stuidos:
Red Balloon Creative Studios is a fully accessible New Creative Studio space located in Bessbrook, just outside Newry.
Directions to Red Balloon Creative Studios:
Coming out of Newry follow out the Camlough road for approximately 1. 5 miles until you come to a large secondary school called St. Paul's which will be on the left hand side. At St. Paul's school take a right on to the Green Road, sign posted Bessbrook and follow that road for about 0. 5 mile. You will past a housing development called Derrymore meadows on the right, take the next right after this development which will take you on to the Mill Road. Follow this road until you come to a small industrial estate called Richbrook developments on the left, you can't miss us when you come through the gate. (However if you get lost please call us on 02830839908)
We provide a broad range of artistic opportunities across a variety of age groups, and levels of ability for all members of our community.
We are very passionate about Arts practice and how engagement in the Arts can have a positive impact on the development of our community, both on a personal and social level.
We feel very strongly about providing more opportunities for participation in the Arts as we believe it plays a vital role in inspiring imaginations, nurturing talent, developing creative thinkers, and producing skilled artists. The benefits of recreational creative practice and its therapeutic qualities for all age groups across the spectrum, has been widely researched and at Red Balloon Creative Studios we are very keen to offer a diverse range of activities in order promote an alternative way to generate positive wellbeing among our community.
We tailor programmes to meet the needs of our clients and will always aim provide the highest standard of tuition / facilitation in all aspects of our work.

💕🎨🎈😍3 years of Creative Bliss...with the most wonderfully talented little artists...💕🎨🎈😍...💔
Good evening folks. This is one of the most difficult posts I have had to write... I have some sad news to break...I have made the heart breaking decision to close my lovely cosy creative studio. I have tried so very hard to keep the studio open but the ever growing costs involved in running it have become over and above what can be covered through programme activities. The studio will be closing from 18th February. Art Club will run as scheduled until the end of this current... programme with the last Art club workshop taking place on the Saturday 11th February. 😢
I am gutted that things have come to this but I have had to make this decision based on what is best moving forward for me and my very supportive family.
I have so many people I would like to thank...firstly I would like to thank all our wonderful clients for the support you have given me and my programmes over the years in the studio. Thank you for allowing me the opportunity to spend time with all of your wonderful little artists...I feel very honoured to have spent time with you and your families and will treasure the memories we have made. I would like to thank @Richbrook Developments for the kindness, encouragement & support they have shown me since I opened...I honestly couldn't have asked for more accommodating landlords. I would like to thank my family and friends for always believing in my "Creative Ideas" even when you didn't quite get it 😂 and thought I may just be from another planet 🤣....oh goodness there are so so Many people to thank and I can only apologise if I have offended any one by not mentioning them, but to all who have helped me achieve my dream...I am truly thankful. I have absolutely no regrets and feel truly blessed to have had this amazing opportunity 😍🎈 As much as this is the end for my studio it is not the end for Red Balloon...I hope to do pop up workshops at seasonal times in different venues (I will keep you all posted 😉) but for now I'm just going to enjoy some time with my lovely family 😘
