Respect Project

Our aim is to use sport to engage with young people throughout the Newry area to help them learn to respect themselves, their sport and their community

The Respect Project was developed by Rockview United Football Club in 2012. The idea for the project was initiated after members of the club participated in study visits to London and Glasgow where they seen at first hand the benefit that the football in the community programmes delivered by Professional Football Clubs had in engaging with hard to reach communities and reducing incidents of crime and anti social behaviour.
