Riddell'S Warehouse Description

Riddell's Warehouse is a four-storey building constructed 1865 - 67 by Thomas Jackson & Son for John Riddell & Son. The warehouse sold cast iron manufactured at the Musgrave Iron Foundry until it relocated in the 1960s. The building was later acquired as part of Musgrave Street Police Station and served as a store room 'security buffer zone' during the Troubles.

In September 2014 it was announced that, with financial assistance from Ulster Garden Villages Ltd, the Hearth Revolving Fund, a building preservation trust, had purchased the building. Hearth intends to raise £3m to redevelop the B1 listed building as an art gallery for the Royal Ulster Academy.

For now, here is a little look inside some of the facilities that they have in the building, from rehearsal space to meeting rooms.
They also have a few desks available to rent on a monthly basis in their shared office as well as one private office available as well!

Here's a sneak musical peek Synthesis by Eve Jeffrey coming up 25-28 July.
Featuring an original electronic score and based on extensive interviews with transgender women, Eve Jeffrey’s pulsating new jet-black comedy is a satire on gender, identity and power and an exploration of how the workplace can make monsters of us all.
Washed-up Sound Lecturer Chloe is recovering from gender reassignment. Maxine is a volatile student drop-out with dreams of becoming a trance DJ. When M...axine invites Chloe to a house for a ‘quiet evening in’, the results are explosive. Add to the mix an uninvited guest, some ill-advised medication and the night quickly turns into a malevolent three-way struggle for survival.
