Robinson Quarry recently took delivery of their first Scania Nextgen 8x4 XT tipper from Rod Hawkins. Now they have taken delivery of a new Nextgen 8x4 XT Block Off-loader. The vehicles feature the same XT Cab with normal roof height which allows the additional factory spot lamps in the roof and a much more spacious cab interior. Vincent Taggart our Business Development Manager attended the handover to get some tidy shots of the latest addition to the fleet. Mullan Plant Sales of Garvagh have taken delivery of a new Scania S580 A6x2/2 V8 from Road Trucks sales executive Rod Hawkins. The V8 comes with a host of extras including full kitchen, V8 interior pack and retarder. This is the first new Scania for Mullan Plant Sales and we wish Connor every success for the future. These Trucks are a P410B8X4 fitted with a hookloader and a P250B4X2 skiploader, this is the 1st 18ton XT Truck to be delivered by us. It features the robust 13 litre engine rated at 410 bhp, with Scania 12 speed Opticruise and 3 pedal ‘clutch on demand’. Bell Transport have taken delivery of another new Scania V8 from Road Trucks Sales Executive Rod Hawkins. The S580 A6x2 Tag axle unit is the companies first Nextgen and looks great in the distinctive Bell Transport livery. William Taylor, Managing Director of Taylors (Fyfin) Ltd, takes delivery of the first Scania G450B6X4NA Next Gen rigid in the province from Harry McQuillan. This new truck, complete with curtainside body, replaces a Scania P380 6x4 which Harry delivered to Taylors in January 2007. The backdrop of the photograph shows a beautiful laburnum hedge which was planted by William’s grandfather in the 1940s. Mr Derek Pepper (Peppers, Dromore Ltd) takes delivery of the 1st of two new R450A6x2/2 NextGen Scania tractor units from Harry McQuillan.
