Another wee gin? Sure why not it is World Gin Day after all!

User

Very nice bar lovely staff and a nice pint of Guinness is served here I would recommend this bar to anyone who is visiting the beautiful city of Belfast

User

The staff made us feel so welcome. The food was fantastic and good size portions.

User

It has been a very long time since I was in Robinson’s, one of the most popular bars in Belfast, so glad that I got the chance to go back, brought back so many memories, totally a class place to be, a must visit for everyone..

User

Four of us arrived for a pre show Christmas lunch, 3 courses, food was lovely, service was good and the waiter/manager serving us was very friendly and efficient, we have been twice and it has been great both times

User

Fantastic service, great food, friendly and knowledgeable sommelier and staff! Lost my phone in the ladies and got it back with some fab staff selfies! Highly recommended!

User

Excellent! !!!!!. We arrived to Belfast at lunch time on a Saturday as we're on a ladies weekend we had already decided we were going to go to the Bistro here for lunch

We had never been here before. When we arrived one of the waiting staff found us an area to put our suitcases special we would not be cramped at our table. We got a lovely table by the window and had a look at the lunch menu which is excellently priced. Two of us ordered the goujons and chips and another friend ordered the cottage pie. All we can say is yummy. The goujons were delicious done in a lovely crispy batter and the chunky chips were excellent. Our friend loved the cottage pie which smelt delicious and there was so much she couldn't finish it. As our experience easy so good we decided to have lunch again on the Monday before heading back to Dublin. Again could not be faulted. As the goujons were so good they were ordered again along with Haddock and chips and it was the nicest fish and batter I have tasted. Crispy and golden. I would happily eat here when in Belfast again and the staff are a credit to them. Friendly and efficient. Really enjoyed it.

Booked a table for four of us last night...what a great night it turned out to be. We were seated at a window seat. Our waiter was so pleasant and helpful. The food was amazing...so tasty and plenty of it and the couple of bottles of wine we had were very tasty too. Will definitely be back!

User

Although the drinks are a bit expensive in comparison to other parts of the UK this is a fantastic venue, real Irish music, dancing and friendly, I loved my night here, I'll be bringing friends over from Scotland

User

We use Robinsons a lot. Lunch there is great - food is really good. Staff and regulars good craic and friendly. Hard to beat the range of ales and drinks available. Fibbers bar downstairs good for music - at weekends in the afternoon as well as evenings. Many a good night spent in there. Easy access to city, bars and restaurants - train and bus station opposite. Will be back soon!

User

Nice friendly atmosphere got hassled outside by some arsehole about my identity and that he was british proud pity but lovely staff and as usual good Irish craic

User

First time at this bar. Really good staff - friendly helpful & they know the food & drink menus well. Food was very good & reasonably priced too.

User

Have to say..atmosphere in Fibber Magees very friendly and bar staff very accommodating, however bouncer on door very very aggressive and quite rude. Shocked to hear some visitors to our wee country warn us that the 'doorman' was quite unpleasant to a few patrons before us. Not what I was expecting and very disappointed that tourists were actually warning others that the bouncer was in 'bad form'. Fully understand that they have a tough job however please be aware that they are customer facing and need to treat patrons as individuals not as potential threats. Other than that once inside a lovely atmosphere.

User

Good food but not great service. Stood waiting to be seated while staff ignored us. Waited quite a while for our order to be taken while the floor staff again ignored us! The food was nice but the plates were cold meaning the food was cold by the time you got halfway through it!

User

Was just ok. Had a steak sandwich and chips with “peppered sauce” not good. Then was short changed at the bar by £10... when I disputed this I was told that cameras would be checked.... check away as I was 100% correct. I’ll not wait on the apology! Atmosphere in the bar is as lovely though hence the 2 stars

User

The food is not good, quality is very poor, similar to fast food restaurant. The only reason i didn't put 1 is because the staff was nice and kind. The service was fast.

User

I visited this bar and restaurants with my friend for dinner, and is was only ok.

Food tasty friendly service but everywhere dirty. menu was dirty sticky, dirty tables, ruffled napkins, knives forks not cleaned! Very disappointed!!

User

Unfortunately I can not give a zero nor is there enough room for me to write down just how rude the staff is in this bar!!! My partner and I went yesterday to get a bite to eat and catch the band that plays there on a Sunday we weren’t in the door 5 minutes until I was approached by a ginger haired bar man and firstly asked to leave when I said but y? He stated kids could not be there if not eating to which I replied but we are eating and he said well you aren’t now!!! He never acknowledged my partner but would rather intimidate a woman!! He did this to me twice 2nd time when my partner wasn’t there so I told him to go speak to him!! Next thing this plump girl with glasses was standing in front of us saying are you looking for me?? We had no idea who she was she was also very rude and wouldn’t believe us when we told her about the bar man and very much took his side !!! We asked where her sign was to which she said it’s in the front bar but there was none in fibbers ... we left and was talking to friends at the door and she came out and stood like we were causing some kind of trouble I asked could I not stand on the street and she said oh yes you can .. I was totally humiliated!! And intimated . She also said it would be recorded and she could listen to the conversation.. no where is allowed to record conversation without ur knowledge it is against the law !!! We went to laverys and got our food and were told that kids are allowed in no problem even if you aren’t eating and they couldn’t believe the way we were treated .. we will never be back in Robinson’s and will be telling all our friends the same!!!

User

Poor service, had to get a refund because it was 25 minutes and still had not brought food and we had to catch the coach.

User

Felt second class from we entered the restaurant, head waiter brought menus and drink list of which the 3 pages of wine lists were missing, it was then approximately 8mins before a very friendly young waitress arrived to take both food and drink order together, the head waiter had been seen to be looking after everyone's drinks order on presentation of the menus, now onto the food, well, steak and Guinness pie? Yes I add a question mark, tough, tasteless filling, dry and luke warm chips, sister's bacon chops were like rubber, finally the waitress returned to clear our table, pretty much all my meal was uneaten 90% and sister bacon chops about 50% eaten but no, yes, not once were we ask was there a problem, guess they didn't realise I have been in management within the hospitality trade for 40 plus years, ah well, needless to say it was a first and last visit, I only awarded one star so I could write this, it actually didn't deserve any stars!

First lesson of full plates being removed from the table - common scence says to ask was there a problem!

Booked a table for four of us last night...what a great night it turned out to be. We were seated at a window seat. Our waiter was so pleasant and helpful. The food was amazing...so tasty and plenty of it and the couple of bottles of wine we had were very tasty too. Will definitely be back!

Although the drinks are a bit expensive in comparison to other parts of the UK this is a fantastic venue, real Irish music, dancing and friendly, I loved my night here, I'll be bringing friends over from Scotland

Nice friendly atmosphere got hassled outside by some arsehole about my identity and that he was british proud pity but lovely staff and as usual good Irish craic

Good food but not great service. Stood waiting to be seated while staff ignored us. Waited quite a while for our order to be taken while the floor staff again ignored us! The food was nice but the plates were cold meaning the food was cold by the time you got halfway through it!

The food is not good, quality is very poor, similar to fast food restaurant. The only reason i didn't put 1 is because the staff was nice and kind. The service was fast.

I visited this bar and restaurants with my friend for dinner, and is was only ok.

Food tasty friendly service but everywhere dirty. menu was dirty sticky, dirty tables, ruffled napkins, knives forks not cleaned! Very disappointed!!
