Loveimage in association with Portadown Cares are delighted to bring you Rock the Runway, a modelling competition open to all run by local people for local people. This high profile event will showcase local talent giving the winner in each category the opportunity of a lifetime to win a modelling contract and personal portfolio.
The event is open to everyone over the age of 4, simply register on-line (coming soon) and come along to our workshop day at Armagh City Hotel, Sunday 4th June 2017 where you will be given hair and make-up advice from a leading hair and make-up artist, health, nutrition and fitness advice from a top a leading personal trainer, catwalk training from an ex professional model and a cover shot by multi award winning photographer and President of PPANI, Marie Allen.
Categories are as follows -
Children age 4 - 12 male and female
13 to 25 year olds male and female
26 to 49 year olds male and female
Over 50’s male and female
Plus size male and female
Following the workshop 60 to 80 entrants will be selected for a professional photoshoot and then go forward to the grand finale in the Armagh City Hotel on Saturday 2nd September 2017 where a night of glitz and glamour awaits. A Champagne reception is available on arrival for your family and friends ahead of a gourmet 4 course meal at the black-tie event. Your guests will be stunned by a variety of local designer talent being showcased throughout their meal before being enthralled by you as you take your turn down the runway.
The evening will cumulate with the announcing of a winner in each category, all of whom will receive a 12 month runway modelling contract and a professional portfolio before the overall winner is announced and their cash prize and trophy will be presented.
