This week on our MEET THE TEAM is Barbara! Barbara has worked with us for 2 years after returning from a career change. Barbara is an exceptional carer who is devoted to her clients and helping her fellow staff members.
1. How would you describe yourself in 3 words?... Caring, friendly and bubbly.
2. What is your favourite thing about your current job? Knowing IтАЩm making a difference in someoneтАЩs life. No matter whether itтАЩs making a cup of tea or just having a chat. ItтАЩs rewarding in so many ways because to that person we could be the only people they see through out the day so your always making a difference.
3. What would you say to someone thinking of working as a Care Assistant? Do it, because youтАЩll never find another job like it were you have a purpose and meaning behind your job and it will always mean something to you when you say your a Care Assistant.
4. What is your favourite way to spend your weekend? Spending it with my family and catching up with friends.
5. If you found out today was your last day on earth, what would you do? Spend it with my mum and family so that we could enjoy whatever length of time we had with each other making memories.

Last year, our Community Manager went along to the Dementia NI Real Lives event. The event was so inspiring that this year we are hoping as many of our staff can attend as possible.
The event gave a real insight as to what it is like to live with Dementia on a daily basis and how it affects everyone differently.

The tour is open to all who work or live in the South Eastern HSC Trust area.
