Feel so blessed, blessed, blessed while aware of human suffering, almost effortless ‘wu wei’, letting heart connection to earth guide the way of surrender/grace. Easter Monday, 2020.

Renewing our relationship with ourselves, each other and the earth. One day, one step at a time. Three minutes morning birdsong. 💚🙏🏽🦋

This is a really beautiful gift on relationships that can only support us all at this time.

This new app allows each of us to contribute to tracking covid-19 and help prevent spread. I’ve just downloaded the app as the more awareness the better, even though it confirms the reality of the strange world we are in. Better aware than not.

Wise, practical and science informed words for these extraordinary times. From a colleague, Imogen Wall, via a colleague/ thanks Miriam Taylor for sharing this pos.
‘So… my goodness. A couple of days ago, I threw out an off-the-cuff post on aid worker tips for surviving lockdown and quarantine. Today I’ve woken up to find it’s been reshared thousands of times. I’m getting comments from strangers around the world, messages of thanks, even requests to translate it. If you’ll ...

Online work - my purpose is to support thriving as well as surviving, especially when circumstances are challenging. I have been working online with zoom with coaching and therapy and supervision/consultation/leadership clients from the the south of Ireland, and different countries for several years. I am now taking all my work online with clients from n.Ireland as well as elsewhere during this covid-19 crisis. Welcome to contact me if you're interested.

I am writing to invite and welcome anyone who would like to to join a first time virtual social experiment in the Gestalt world that I know of, of an online conference. This is organised by the Gestalt Mexican Association with support from the AAGT, and the technology will be set up in Mexico. See website Habitat 2020 1st Virtual Conference - https://www.habitat2020.com.mx/Habitat - Virtual.html I am feeling a little nervous as well as excited about this new format to pr...

I’ve been a little shy about this, though following a nudge, I intend to offer a #SupervisionandConsultation Group in Belfast. We will also, with full negotiation, consent and opt outs, include #nature occasionally, weather permitting, the Belfast Hills, Belvoir, Cregagh Glen, etc in order to explore connection to ourselves, each other and #nature/nature deficit (Richard Lourv), and to support much needed new initiatives with the awareness, creative skills and embodied wisdo...m given #climatebreakdown. The group will include #livedemonstrations of working with clients as possibly the most effective learning method. Somatic and developmental theory, neuroscience, with a strong focus on ethical practice that supports genuine autonomy, agency, creativity and human rights. Message me if you’re interested and please forward to / invite others who may be interested. Criteria: qualified and accredited counsellors, therapists and supervisors, and those wishing to move towards supervision who are open to support. Email: drrosieb@gmail.com

Delighted and fun to be part of the first international Gestalt online conference, Feb 19-23 2020. I'm presenting a workshop on effective embodied practices to support us to go beyond surviving to thriving through challenging ecological, social, economic and psychological conditions. This workshop will include international participants and be hosted from Mexico. More detail later.

An interesting article that supports an empowering approach to therapy and related activities based on solidarity.

I’m in the Netherlands for further advanced training on working with personality adaptations. This article by Gestalt colleague, Elinor Greenberg, offers a useful overview of phases of the process of therapy, useful for all of us working with people, and as people with narcissistic traits and impacted by others narcissism. My interest is also in working with leaders and organisations impacted by narcissistic leaders with a harsh culture of performance that re-enacts a narcissistic family with scapegoats and heroes/heroines. Ouch! Little empathy there. In the autumn I will offer a workshop on this theme as it effects us all.
