This is my total favourite! Miso soup, edamame, garlic pak choi, eel sushi and so light tempura- with hot sake it is a treat I always look forward to. Happy, efficient staff always glad to help with explanations. Good for my vegetarians too. Happy!

Possibly the best sushi + sashimi meal that I ever had!!! Wonder price as well, fast service, nice intimate atmosphere and cleanliness. I am going to write a review for my company's bulletin ;)

One of my favourite restaurants I just love the food here especially the sushi train and the prawn tempura also and the fact that they serve plum wine makes it even better

Food was amazing and the staff were fantastic. First time there and will definitely be back.

Fav restaurant Been so many times and never had a bad meal My daughter lives in Saudi and when she comes home she will always go to Sakura at least 2-3 times Brought Saudi nationals over as well and they really enjoyed it and they would be spoilt for sushi restaurants.Cant wait until my next visit

Excellent food and better value than other Japanese restaurants in the city especially the set menu. This rates very highly for lunch or dinner and great service. Perfect ambience upstairs for any meal out. Staff also picked up it was birthday celebration and brought special dessert and give a lovely doll. Only downside I've experienced was in set menu when we tried to have dessert changed to speciality coffee at the same price we were refused which seems little odd given its the same price. Waiteress did come back on last visit to allow it on this occassion but definitely this should not be a problem. Needless to say I do love the place and any friends I've brought have also gone back!

Every meal here is cracking. � was beautiful as was the sushi. The sizzling garlic sirloin & garlic Japanese rice was a new taste for me & was perfect. Never hurts to have a few pints of Asahi too. As I gave read on other reviews the staff are very glum faced & make you feel a bit conscious that you have to be overly polite to try & get a smile.

Both the food and service were definitely on point tonight. I will definitely be back!!

I've always been a sushi lover, and was surprised at how good this restaurant was. I would say the sushi is definitely better than any of the main meals. Crab and avocado special roll was to die for and the SPICY salmon hand roll!� Divine! The only thing they are lacking is good staff...our waiter was rude, didnt seem as if he cared about the restaurant and kinda put a downer on the mood!

I do love it here but agree that although staff are efficient a little smile wouldn't go amiss. This was my partners treat when we visited belfast Christmas shopping. We were seated at the sushi bar and were so pleased with the dishes available.

Well I love it here and I normally order the tempura of prawns, which were grand. But Sakura Owners, you really need to get some HAPPY staff, like Lisa who went off back home and got married! Miss her! Or the lad who went down into the City Centre to run a Noodle Bar, miss him too!! Don't think I will be back as when one is in the hospitality industry it simply means you have to be 'hospitable' to welcome customers, to make them feel at home, to encourage them to recommend your restaurant to others and thence get them to return time and time again. I know Ben's family own this restaurant and I hope they are reading this......................Fair-Foodie :-(

Got a take away Salmon and Avocado Rolls - Salmon was so chewy because the bits that were supposed to be taken away were put into the sushi. Really disgusting because it is not edible. Never had it so bad anywhere else before.

Came here tonight for my birthday and from start to finish it was very poor. Sat down with my girlfriend and it was just a weird atmosphere to start with. Then the staff brought us a dish from another table, realised their mistake and lifted it away from us without saying anything. Then brought my girlfriend her second dish, set it down, said "oh, we forgot something" and took it back before bringing her other dish. They removed my plate before she had finished and reached across me to top up water without asking when my glass was three quarters full and we were in the middle of eating. Very odd. Left half our mains too as the food was average at best. We decided to leave without bothering with dessert which was included in the set menu. I always leave tips at restaurants but the only tip I can give these guys is to get their staff on some more training courses!

Unfortunately this is probably one of the most disappointing dining experiences I've ever experienced. When ordering my food, I advised the waiter that I was a vegan and specifically requested no meat, fish, dairy etc with my meal. When my food arrived, I was served a meat dish ..??! By the time the correct dish was served, the party I was with (having finished their food) where ready to leave, leaving me with no time to finish my meal ... Such a disappointment considering we spent over £700 in the restaurant tonight ..
