Hi everyone, I’m normally not one to write up a post like this, but last minute cancellations have become an absolute joke. I’ve seen other makeup artists posting about this issue too and find it so sad that this is happening to so many of us. The past month or two have just been ridiculous with cancelling the night/ a few hours before their appointment or not cancelling at all. Makeup is not a hobby for me but a full time business! All I ask is that you cancel atleast 24 hou...rs before your appointment, this means I can fill the slot you’ve cancelled. I’d prefer that you would 1) Look at where I live before making a appointment 2) Make sure you have a lift to and from before booking me 3) Make sure your definitely attending the event/dinner/nightclub etc this makeup is for. This should hopefully eliminate the amount of cancellations as reasons like these are proving popular.
Small demands I know but I’ve now had to put a cancellation fee in place. You will not get another appointment with me until the cancellation fee is paid. Ranting over 😓😓
