#NationalStorytellingWeek – Scottish Provident, a life insurance firm, was amongst the first housed in SPB. The building was expanded over half of the west side of Donegall Square for rentable office and shop space, a practice that has continued to this day, with the building now home to serviced offices, bars, shops and restaurants. #SPB #ServicedOffices #VenYou

#NationalStorytellingWeek - Industrial Belfast was largely built from 1850 onwards, with SPB architects, Young and Mackenzie having a major hand to play in many of the Victorian and Edwardian designed buildings you can see at City Hall today. The firm built the ‘Scottish Provident Insurance Buildings’ in two stages between 1897 and 1902 in the Baroque revival style, mirroring the neighbouring Belfast City Hall. #SPB #ServicedOffices #VenYou
