What a great menu, our choices were Breakfast Burrito and All American, both fabulous, plenty of tea and coffee too. So pleased we called in and will be back. Thank you for a 'chilli' start to the day.

We've been here so many times, never fails to impress! This morning we brought the kiddies to celebrate Father's Day for breakfast, high five to the young guy serving! Customer service at its best and so good with the kids, was highly impressed!! Thank you �

We were in yesterday before the airshow started with my husband and 2 children (7&1). The staff could not have been more friendly and accommodating if they had tried! The food was amazing, my hubby had a fry which he said was the best he has had anywhere, I had the pancake stack which was lovely. My son had soup and a sandwich but although he said the soup was yummy he couldn't eat it all, my little girl enjoyed her sausage and bits of everyone else's. We will make this our stop eveytime we are in Newcastle!!

Was in Seasalt twice last week: Once for the bistro night and once for breakfast.

The Bistro night: the atmosphere was great, very relaxed and the staff were extremely helpful and friendly.

The food was great! It was refined enough to make the night feel special without being stuffy. We were a table of 10 so too many options to mention all but I had pork belly and my wife had two starters (rather than a main): Salt Chilli Squid and Beetroot, goats cheese and candied walnut risotto. All three dishes were beautifully cooked and were extremely flavourful!

The Bistro nights are best summarised by saying it's high quality food in a relaxed environment with staff that clearly feel passionate about their work.



The Breakfast: We were in as a family and while the atmosphere was different to the relaxed evening setting it was equally fitting for a busy beach front café. Again the service was great. We had a selection of dishes including the American Style breakfast (Pancakes, maple syrup along with elements of a fry), Black Bean breakfast Burrito, a straight up fry and the kids had Pancake stacks with bacon, bananas and maple syrup. All of it was great! The frys were not greasy at all (which is a big plus in my book!)

We would highly recommend the Seasalt at any time!

Was here yesterday with my daughter and her friend staff were amazing so friendly and the food amazing girls said it's the best chicken burger they have ever had and the burritos yum

The staff were all very friendly and attentive. I love a good brunch spot and Sea Salt did not disappoint. The smoked salmon layer hit the spot and my little boy was well impressed with the (homemade) peanut butter and banana pancake stack. My husband enjoyed the open steak sandwich on special. This is a great local cafe if you find yourself in.Newcastle!

Just had lunch here after a lovely walk up Donard. We sat outside as it was sunny and we'd our dog with us. It started to rain and they kindly brought us a big umbrella. Friendly, welcoming and efficient service and the food was top notch. The fish supper with fresh, chunky tartare sauce and club sandwich with cheesy chip were delicious. Wish we'd room/time for one of the amazing-looking buns I spied on the counter..next time!

I Had Private dinner party here for my hen night will all my family and friends food was beautiful and the staff we brilliant i would highly recommend and will definitely be back!! ��

Had a meal here in a group of 4 on Sat 21st Oct. The restaurant itself is beautiful, clean, quirky but homely at the same time! Food was amazing, massive portions and really wholesome. BYOB was fab too and the staff (especially Trevor, the owner) were lovely and really good craic! Can’t wait to go back.

Had a lovely night at Sea Salt to celebrate my birthday. The staff were so accommodating & nothing was too much for them, even brought out cake with a candle which was such a lovely personal touch. Food was absolutely gorgeous as was the setting. Loved it, will definitely be back �

Came here for the first time with my partner this morning! Can't believe I hadn't heard of you's before! Service was absolutely fantastic so friendly and helpful! Food was outstanding too!!!!! Highly recommend this place and will definitely be back!!!

Been eating in and out of the Sea Salt for the last two years or so. Quite simply for me it's the best place in Newcastle to eat. The food is always superb, the atmosphere is great, you will not find a better staff in Newcastle and nobody is rushing you to finish!

Whether you're going for breakfast, brunch, lunch or the bistro nights you'll get five star food and service. Stay for their cortado after the meal as they are really something else.

After a good long walk at Tollymore there is nowhere better for Sunday brunch. Top class food served here. 5 star hotel standard breakfast. I usually have the Huevos rancheros but today went for the Eggs Royale. And the perfect flat white. Just superb.
