my children had a great time today thanks guys for your help they can't wait till 16 July

User

We visited here last week with the family. It was vert interesting and the staff were friendly and very knowledgeable.

User

We took a group of Adults and Children here on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday and it was enjoyed by kids and adults alike - think the adults actually enjoyed it more. Kids loved the shell painting and activities on offer, and the feely boxes were a great hit with parents and children alike. Sarah and Stacey were so welcoming and couldn't do enough for us. Well worth a wee trip with the kids - they'll love it. We'll definitely be returning for an other trip

User

We had an absolutely fantastic time at Seascope! Stacey was so knowledgeable and gave us such a good hands-on tour; both of my girls loved her we came away with some brilliant Arts and Crafts, as well as some lovely souvenirs for great prices. Would highly recommend a visit here, we will definitely be back!

User

We had a great time . Michael & Sarah were very friendly & very knowledgeable. We learned a lot about sea creatures & the kids painted lovely shells . Would highly recommend it. Can’t wait for next week for the treasure hunt :)

User

We had a great day here with a 6yr old, 4yr old and a 1yr old. We all had a great time and learnt so much not just about lobsters but other sea life as well. We got to handle crabs, oysters etc and meet Bluey the big lobster. Our girls loved the craft and staff were relaxed to let our little 1yr adventurer wander about. We would definitely recommend a visit!

User

Visited sea scope today the kids had a ball and the girl working was amazing with the kids really worth a visit we will be back !!

User

Visited Seascope with a 6-year-old and toddler today and we had a brilliant time thanks to the fantastic tour we had. We were shown around the hatchery, got to touch the lobsters, visit the babies and do some art. We learned lots of fun facts about the lobsters and the staff member really took her time to answer all our questions and make it lots of fun for everyone. Highly recommended! We will definitely return!

User

Visited Seascope today with a 9 and 3 year-old. Both kids and adults had a brilliant time getting hands on with the grabs, lobsters and starfish and learned loads of interesting facts - according to 9 year old the most interesting thing was that when lobsters shed their shells they sometimes lose their claws but it’s ok because they grow back and that means they are better than humans If you’re in the area, it’s well worth the small entry fee. Thanks for the personal service, answering all our questions and the art work at the end. Hope this years hatchlings all make it out in to the big wide sea !!

User

Visited Sea Scope yesterday with our 3 boys, aged 3, 6 and 9. We all had a really great time. The lady who did our tour was fabulous, (Sorry can’t remember your name), but she was really friendly, patient with the endless questions and very knowledgeable!! The boys learnt a lot and had fun doing it! Would definitely recommend a visit and I know we will be going back!

User

This is such a great place to visit. My three year old was thrilled to hold crabs, starfish and touch the famous Bluey (lobster). There is plenty to keep kids entertained (and even educated!) for a few hours, and the adults really enjoyed it too. The crafts at the end are a great bonus. We have been twice this summer already and both times Sarah has given us a friendly welcome and super tour - her enthusiasm and love of all sea creatures is infectious. Highly recommend!

User

Such a great wee find. Sarah was so friendly with lots of knowledge regarding sea life especially what we can find on our own beaches. Brought a 4 year old who enjoyed it and got to paint a wee fish. Would recommend

User

Really enjoyed our visit today. Was so surprised by the big blue lobster and the hands on stuff for the kids was great. But perhaps the best bit was just how personal it all was. The girl who showed us round -Sarah- really knew her stuff and really went out of her way to make sure we enjoyed our visit... learnt loads and liked how she mixed in anecdotes here and there making it all the more interesting for both adults & kids. Many thanks!

User

My 6 year old loved her visit here this week. This is a fabulous place for a wee trip with your kids the staff are wonderful and full of information about the lobsters. Great arts and crafts to thanks everyone

User

Just had our daughter's 5th birthday party here. It was fantastic and the kids were entertained by Stacey's knowledge of all the little sea creatures and the fab range of arts and crafts. The girls were so helpful with the organisation and I'd highly recommend the Lobster Hatchery for a child's party!

User

First visit today to the Seascope Lobster Hatchery at Kilkeel Harbour. We were greeted by the lovely Stacey who was so polite and extremely professional. Stacey provided an educational and interactive experience which the girls really enjoyed. The excitement at getting to touch and feed a variety of creatures was great and the arts & crafts was an added bonus. Can't believe this visitor centre is right on our door step. Definitely worth a visit.

User

Fantastic place for kids. Staff so friendly and have lots of patience. Also had a great day at the rock pool event at Cranfield. Would def recommend. Thanks for a fab day.

User

Fantastic find just beside the harbour, the staff very knowledgeable and friendly and learnt so much I never knew before! Very fascinating and would recommend for adults and kids alike! Getting to see and hold the sunfish was amazing - if you’re down round the mournes check this place out.

User

Excellent place, lovely staff, Sarah was so welcoming and really knew her stuff! Learnt a lot and was so much fun for myself and my little girl! Was cool seeing the lobsters, crabs and learning how they live, adapt and what they eat, etc. Would definitely go back!
