Set Employability Service Description
Youth@Work is a 12 week employer-based learning and development programme funded by the Department for Education and Learning (DEL) under The Collaboration and Innovation Fund (CIF) and delivered by the South Eastern HSC Trust’s Employability Service.
The project is delivered over 12 weeks and culminates in a 5 weeks’ work placement within one of the SE Trust’s vast catchment areas.
The success of Youth@Work continues to grow and, as a result, the South Eastern Trust’s exciting work placement opportunities are expanding for all 16 – 24 year olds who are not in education, employment or training.
Youth@Work will cover a young person’s travel expenses to and from the project’s base, childcare if needed and there are several incentives available to help maintain engagement.
Work placements include the following areas: Catering, Laundry /CSSD, Housekeeper, Support Worker, Domestic and Portering Services, Admin and Clerical and many more.
