We have, among other friends, Iranian Christians who attend our weekly English class. Let's be encouraged to come alongside and pray for these Christians (and others) who have had to leave parents, siblings, friends and home, to follow Jesus Christ.

Jun Kyu receiving the coveted prize (a KitKat) for achieving the position of Shaftesbury Square Men's fellowship 2019 10 pin bowling champion! 🏆🎳. Arnau (2nd) was magnanimous in defeat! The 'battle of the Daves' (aka Dave Cunningham and David Heggarty) ended in a draw!

Have you ever wondered about what kind of people attend our Friday evening English class? Here are some pics to give you an idea! Tonight was 'food friday' and as always, we were spoilt for choice! Thank you to everyone who cooked, served and cleared up. You'll also see a photo of Jorge (holding the menu) ... About 7 years ago, Jorge came to our class and spoke no English. Today, Jorge is now the proud owner of his recently opened Spanish restaurant, Bon Dia. Jorge - our men's fellowship will be visiting soon!!!!

This is a map of the disruption that will be happening around the city on Sabbath due to the marathon. Traffic from the north and the east will be heavily affected around 11:00 however the church should be accessible from the south and west as the runners should have passed great Victoria street at this time.

Tonight at the Shaftesbury Fellowship we had the largest pizza in Ireland at 32.5 inches.
