Shropshire Astronomical Society

A county wide society for anyone interested in astronomy and all space related topics. All levels and ages welcome. We provide workshops, talks and attend events as well as holding regular observing sessions at Rodington and Little Ness.

The Shropshire Astronomical Society (SAS) is a county-wide group for anyone interested in astronomy, star-gazing or space exploration. It meets once a month for observing sessions, and about twice a year for lectures by guest speakers

The SAS is keen to promote astronomy and raise public awareness of astronomy. Its aim is to make astronomy available to EVERYONE with an interest in the night sky regardless of their level of knowledge
