Comprised of separate panels, the louvres are individually controlled to direct the light around your room as you desire, as well as managing the privacy of the view in to your window from the outside. There are numerous configurations to suit all shapes, sizes and window types – from square to shaped, to arched to patio doors, with 4 louvre sizes to choose from, all available in a choice of materials and wide range of colours or stains to suit your budget. The Product

Our shutters use state of the art manufacturing with hand crafted finishing touches. Woods utilised in hardwood shutters are stored for 6 months, kiln dried twice in a computer controlled drying facility and specifically dried to take into account our climate, to avoid frame warping, then allowed to settle before being treated.

The stiles (sides of the panels) use a unique ‘transverse multi-ply’ process – rather than made as solid pieces the wood, they are cut into strips and bonded back together in opposing layers for greater strength, breaking the capillaries in the wood through which moisture travels to avoid warping. Mortise and tenon joints are used between rails and stiles – far stronger than dowel joints and minimises movement.

Our shutters are sprayed with a specifically developed, high quality, proprietary paint system. No less than 6 coats of paint or stain are applied to ensure the product is less susceptible to fading and yellowing and the last layer is UV protected just to make sure.
