Silverbirch Hotel

The room was lovely and the bathroom was exquisite. The meals were beautiful. The reception staff and waiting staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Would recommend highly.

Staff were super friendly and very helpful all the time, especially in the restaurant and bar. The rooms were large and spacious and very comfortable. Although seemingly in the middle of a quiet area, there are a plethora of things to see and do including the fantastic American Folk Park and the arts centre just opposite.

Lovely staff and the hotel is always clean and warm. The restaurant serves delicious food (I love their steaks!) and many people book tables their for special events (birthday parties, exam results celebrations, confirmations etc etc). The hotel has really improved in recent years and the car park is never full. While it is situated on a main road, you cannot hear traffic inside and it is very close by to a Spar shop for any snacks you may want to buy! It is also walking distant from the town centre and the retail park.

Fantastic hotel.staf excellent. Very helpful pleasant and willing to have laugh with. Rooms very clean. Food fantastic. Can't wait to come back again.

Lovely large room. Comfortable beds. The shower was a bit weak sadly. Staff were lovely and friendly. Very nice breakfast.

Great service. Attentive and polite staff. Room was very clean and restaurant was well set up. Dinner was good and well priced. Overall a good spot and great staff.

Called in for lunch on a Saturday. Nice renovations and decor. The menu had plenty of simple choices including burgers, soup or chilli chicken dishes. Food came in good sized portions. Service was a bit slow and it did take a long time from ordering to receiving the food. Also the lighting was an odd mixture of red and blue spotlights which induced the feeling of vertigo! All in all, it was decent food in good amounts which made for a nice lunch, but no big highlights to the experience.

The food from the bar was excellent, quick and food was lovely. Smaller car park than before large extension but was still able to find a space. Might be hard on another very busy night
