Here's something we're not asked to do everyday but was good craic being inlvolved in the logistics of the bubble car.
We were tasked with getting the famous O'Hares smart car to its final destination for a bit of 'smart' advertising on the roof of the function room and it was turning heads and starting conversations even before we had the hand brake on and finished getting it into position.
I think you'll agree it looks the part but god help whoever has to take it to the next MOT 😎

Sorry we haven't been updating for a while but it has been a bit hectic since Christmas time thankfully but here is a job just finished off and a quick turn around to keep the premises functioning and making the optimum amount of space for functions
Extension to O'hares main function room:
Store rooms and structural walls removed with roof altered and steel 'picture frame' installed with a whopping 16m beam installed in the ground weighing 0.75 tonne and another twice the dep...th to carry the roof weighing 1.4 tonne brought in by hand through the door shown in the picture which a few people doubted could even be done!!
Floors broken out where necessary to level up and all patched in to leave a really large usable space which will allow for larger functions in the future.
Ceiling heights all levelled up and skimmed in to match existing and new lighting installed.
Temporary safety wall Removed and all cleaned up in time for the Easter rush.

Good evening. Here's another little update from a job we recently carried out on Kilkeel.
Bathroom and adjoining toilet room wall room was removed to form a more practical and luxurious space with addition of 1200x900 shower and recessed lighting and feature chrome towel radiator.
On the landing we installed a large roof light and installed a light tunnel through the trusses in the roof space to throw natural light onto a previously dark stairway which our customer was deli...ghted with.
Outside we removed the old timber fence and put in foundations before building a block wall with silver grey pillar and wall rendered to match the house.
The old oil tank was replaced with a new slimline tank to make more space in the yard and area where an old shed was demolished had the concrete base broke out and 3x2 paving slabs laid to match existing with a manufactured slope to the footpath to remove any trip hazards.

Another job recently done in Newcastle. Copper pipes had decayed over the years so all pipes were traced and relaid in hep and heating zoned to reduce fuel bills and floors reinstated. We took care of talking to insurers to give client peace of mind during the work being undertaken.
We also carried out renovations to the property where 2 rooms were knocked into one open plan space which involved removal of chimney and chimney breast wall as well as tiling roof where chimney once was located to match existing. Further to this was the inclusion of a 3m wide timber patio door which involved breaking out and propping wall with strong boys until a structural steel beam was inserted to carry the roof load. Electrical and plumbing points moved to facilitate new kitchen install by Coastline Kitchens.

Ground preparation and paving carried out by us on a house we recently finished building in Newcastle.
Rear garden also graded out.
