After unsuccessfully trying to lose weight for almost 30 years, I decided to try Slimming World. My main reason for joining was I was diagnosed with diabetes. I wanted to do everything I could to help this condition, along with the other medical problems I experienced due to my weight. I also wanted to live long enough to see my grandchildren grow up – a huge inspiring factor.

I never thought I would go on to lose over 9 ½ stones and become a Slimming World Consultant. My life has changed so much – I am fitter, more energetic, healthier and I love life once again.

Most importantly, I love my job and my members are amazing in supporting each other. We have fantastic weight loses in group each week and I just love giving out weight loss awards and offering support to all my members
