ive just let a potential customer down, she asked me to book a job in on facebook, i dont use it much, and unfortunately missed her deadline. this is why i ask for people to call! that way you get booked in there and then and dont get let down. hopefully this wont happen again.

We were asked to come and see why the stove wasn't drawing properly, there is no prizes for the correct answer, but can you guess why?

We were asked to sweep this the other day, near choked when I seen this, first thing was the wooden hearth, sorry WOODEN😕 opened the door of the stove and found it was a boiler stove, the boiler on this design was 2 inches below the start of the flue, yes it was a bad design, but no access to sweep the flue, meaning it was never swept for the time in was stuck in! I say stuck in, because it doesn't deserve to be called an installation. Another possible killer fire!

Handy way to straighten the flue pipe! I often wonder what goes through builders heads, I can lay bricks, but wouldn't do it for a customer! There is the right person for the job, needless to say, there was no paperwork left for this install. Please find a specialist and know you installation is safe.

If anyone you know is getting a stove, either wood or multi fuel fitted/thrown in! Please tell them, to ask whoever it is to show them what needs done and how it works. It's amazing how many people don't know how to remove their throat/baffle plates, or indeed what it is! This along with lack of sweeping is the biggest cause of Chimney fires when people have a stove. Please share this information so stove owners are better educated.

Household was soo lucky that the fireplace didn't catch fire! There is charing on the backside of the wodden surround, it is hard to see to be fair, due to the tar buildup from burning wet, unseasoned wood! Please leave fireplace and stove installations to the professionals, the boy that fitted this apparently has been doing them for years😣 Be careful folks.
