South Woodburn Reservoirs

I absolutely love coming here with my dog. I’m a keen photographer, too and the views of the reservoir and trees are stunning. It’s very peaceful.

The only thing I dislike is the fact that there are still people opening hunting out there, this is usually with dogs or air rifles which I’ve seen. Oh and the mass and I mean MASS amount of flies.

There’s also no information on the length of the south reservoir, middle and north reservoir as I’d like to be able to track how far we walk.

I’d highly recommend this for tourists, or NI residents who want to go on a nice, scenic walk.

Good walk

Avoid very muddy lower dam.

Excellent place for a walk. Lower reservoir has been drained, I'm guessing that to allow work on the draw off tower. Top two reservoirs are full
