About Special Eu Programmes Body - Seupb

The Special EU Programmes Body (SEUPB) is a North /South cross-border Body which manages European Structural Fund Programmes PEACE and INTERREG in Northern Ireland, the Border Region of Ireland and Western Scotland.

Special Eu Programmes Body - Seupb Description

The funding is provided under two distinct European Regional Development funded programmes called PEACE and INTERREG.

The support provided under the PEACE Programme is designed to reinforce progress towards a more peaceful and stable society and promote reconciliation across all communities.

The support provided under the INTERREG Programme is designed to promote cross-border co-operation for a more prosperous and sustainable region.

The SEUPB is currently preparing for the launch of the new PEACE and INTERREG Programmes for 2014-2020, which combined will bring in €469m of EU investment into the region.

The themes of the new PEACE Programme include Shared Education; Children and Young People; Shared Spaces and Building Positive Relations at a Local Level.

The themes of the new INTERREG Programme include Research and Innovation; the Environment; Health and Sustainable Transport.

**North West Europe Programme - Ones to Ones**
SEUPB will be hosting a series of one-to-one sessions on Wednesday 12th September 2018 with Northern Ireland applicants who are applying to the 8th call for project proposals under the North West Europe Programme.
The UK National Contact Point for the Programme, Filippo Compagni, will be joining the SEUPB for the one to ones, offering potential applicants the opportunity to find out what a successful project application looks lik...e and how to develop it ahead of the Call closing in November.
The sessions are also open to those who have a project idea and are exploring the potential of applying to the programme in any future call. Please note: Priority will be afforded to those who already have well advanced proposals and intend to apply to the current Call.
One to ones will last from around 1 to 1.5 hours and will be held at the SEUPB Office in Belfast.
