You can join us to study:

Level 3 Extended Diploma in Music Production & Performance

OVERVIEW
This course, equivalent to three A Levels, will introduce you to the range of skills needed to start your career in the music industry. On application you will be able to choose to major in performance, or technology with performance (subject to application numbers).

Modules studied may include a range of the following:
• Acoustics
• Composing
• Music and Sound for Moving Image
• Listening Skills
• Music Production Techniques
• Live Sound Techniques
• Sequencing
• The Sound and Music Industry
• Audio Engineering
• Pop Music in Practice
• Working And Developing as a Music Ensemble
• Music Technology in Performance
• Planning and Delivering a Music Product
• Sound Creation and Manipulation
• Special Subject Investigation
• Music Notation Packages

You will be taken through the whole process of creating, performing and recording music both in the studio and live at the Market Place Theatre.


Level 5 HND Music.

This course focuses on the growing demand for electronic music-based professionals and develops relevant skills and expertise to industry level. This highly practical course has a strong emphasis on current music and studio production, integrating technology and creativity with entrepreneurship skills. In a partnership with The Market Place Theatre, you will benefit from performance and production work in one of Ireland's leading venues. You will work alongside a team of highly skilled technicians and performers to develop real life projects that will both inspire and challenge.
