Holy Week at Home 2020 - Holy Saturday
Normally on Holy Saturday, we would decorate our Church.
Obviously we cannot do that this year, so instead, why not decorate the Church at Home?
... So we invite you to make a decoration, floral, fabric, anything really, take a picture of it, and post it here.

A busy day at the rectory, reflecting on Jesus's last meal and how his actions teach us to love and serve each other. Our thanks to all those who are serving those in need in this current climate.

Ready for tomorrow.

The parish office is now closed for two months. Emails will be picked up by churchwarden Stuart.

Here's something we can all do to share that this Sunday will be Palm Sunday.

I would like to set you all a creative challenge. How about knitting or crocheting symbols of hope and happiness, flowers, hearts, crosses, doves etc. Any colours and size. Then when we are able to gather, we can join them all together to make an altar frontal or a banner, in celebration of faith, hope and love. Let me know if you'd like to join in. Revd Rosie

Church at home in the rectory kitchen. I inherited a travelling altar some years ago, it folds up into a very heavy teak box, too heavy to cart around for home communions. It's coming into its own now! Set aside some time on Sunday, log into the live stream from the bishop via the diocesan website, put some bread on a plate and enjoy worshipping with us all in a new way. Remember...the our church door may be closed but the church is alive today more than ever. Stay safe and well this week, God bless.

Dear Friends. We are tasked to do everything we are asked to do in this current time of uncertainty. So we have been asked to close the church doors until further notice. BUT the church building door may be closed the Church is well and truly open. Our church emailing system gives you the opportunity to receive our weekly Pews News, giving you the Sunday readings, homily and prayers for you to read and reflect on during the week, email the: office@clewerparish.org if you'd l...ike to join. There are a variety of apps that you can use for your daily prayers and the Church of England website has a lot you can choose from. Personally I like Pray as you Go app. It is lectionary based, has music, the bible reading, a reflection and prayer. Make yourself a cuppa, sit outside the back door, take some deep breaths, listen to the bird song and spend time in prayer. It is the one thing we can do for everyone. Keep you eye on our website and this page - an important time of year for our faith is approaching and I'm going to have to be creative! My prayers and blessings for you all, stay safe and well.
