Dear Parents,
We are pleased to advise you that the Afterschools will be opening from 2pm on Thursday 13th of February to facilitate the school’s early closure for staff training.
For those of you who are new to the Afterschool facility, days on which the school closes early must be treated as extra opening days as we do not have sufficient capacity to accommodate all session 1 and session 2 children who normally attend.
... A limited number of 30 places will be available for children who normally attend on Thursdays and places will be allocated on a first come first served basis.
We would request that parents who require a place for their child enrol as soon as possible. A list will be placed on the hall door from Monday 3rd February to enable you to register for a place.
Only those children whose names are on the list will be collected by the Afterschools staff on Thursday 13th of February.

The Afterschools closes today at normal time, we are not open tomorrow. We return on the Monday 6th of January. We wish all of our children and their families a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

The Afterschools will be open from 12.30pm on Wednesday 8th of January to facilitate the early finish time for P1 and P2 classes due to St. Colman’s Open Afternoon. Children who normally attend on a Wednesday will be collected at 12.30pm. If you have made alternative arrangements and do not wish for your child to be collected please let a member of the Afterschools staff know.

Hi everyone, there is a vacancy on the Afterschools Committee for someone with Human Resources experience. This position is an integral part of our team. Do you have any experience in HR? If not, do you know someone who has? Please consider joining our team or please pass this message on to any parents you know with HR experience.

Unfortunately due to circumstances beyond our control the afterschools will not be opening for the staff development day on Friday 22nd of November.

If you have registered for your child to attend the afterschools for the day this Friday the 27th September, payment is now due.

Just a reminder that even though the school is closed next Friday 27th of September, we are open from 9am - 5pm. The cost is £15 per child. There are a few places still available, please ask a member of staff if you wish for your child to attend.
Parents, please ensure payments are made by Monday the 23rd of Sept.... Also, please be aware that if you have registered for your child to attend but they fail to do so, you will still be charged.

May we please remind parents that payments are due by the 5th of each month.
Unfortunately a significant number of parents failed to make their payments on time for the month of September.
The Afterschools is run by a voluntary committee of parents. This adds a considerable workload to the monthly reconciliation of accounts. ... Late payments puts your account in arrears and may jeopardise your eligibility for a place next year.

The cost is £15 per child. Payments can be made using childcare vouchers or by bank transfer. Please ensure all payments are referenced.

Can we please remind you that if your child is absent from school or is being picked up early, it is essential that you let the afterschools staff know that they do not need to be collected.
Likewise, if your child is starting a school club and needs to be collected at a later time, simply let us know the details and we can accommodate this.
