St George'S House

St George’s House was founded in 1966 by H. R. H. The Duke of Edinburgh and the then Dean of Windsor, Robin Woods, as a place for nurturing wisdom.

Founded in 1966, St George’s House has provided a safe physical and intellectual space where people who are prepared to make a difference in society gather to debate topics of national and international significance. The House is a place which thrives on cogent argument and careful listening, a place where dialogue is pre-eminent. Our annual programme of Seminars and Lectures seeks to nurture wisdom in the interests of a better society.
